  • right now but watch when world war 3 happens against u faggots

  • sukhoi, nice aircraft

    amazin manouvarbility

  • I like your vid clip and I've rated it as awesome. Please check out mine on some 1920's aircraft trading cards.

  • wow what a song. can someone tell me please the name of this song

  • A more realistic (fantasy) situation would be to have the Canadian pilots train in F-15's and face U.S F-15 pilots. They both train the same role (Air Superiority) and that would be a good fight.

  • However, given that the CF-18's primary role is air superiority (remember Canada doesn't have F-15's) I wouldn't doubt that the best air superiority fighter pilots in Canada would best two F-16 multi-role pilots. Keep in mind that F-16 pilots aren't just training air defence and superiority, they are also ground pounding.

  • My lord is there a lot of crap being said here. For whomever said the bit about the CF-18's vs. the F-16's I can't find anything about it anywhere.

  • I do not need an article, I've seen it.

  • The F-117 was flying for almost twenty years before it became public knowledge. Imagine what is in the U.S. arsenal right now that will not become public knowledge for twenty years.

  • seeing how most americans like to brag in forums rather than become engineers, i would say the U.S. arsenal has jack shit, plus some stealth fighters built for the wrong frequency band.

  • Wow! You're an antogonistic little ass aren't you. Since people like you find it very safe to be dickheads online and total pussies out in the world, your smug little post means "jack shit" to me. Now go try to impress someone else little boy.

  • Are you kidding? The MIG-29 went into service twenty years after the F-15! The F-15 was created in the early 70's to counter the MIG-25. After Viktor Belenko flew his Foxbat to Japan in 1976 the U.S. realized it had overestimated the Foxbat's abilities. The F-15 is 35 years old and still hold's it's own against anything else.

  • the technology is beautiful :d

  • In Soviet Russia, plane ownz you.

  • just remember the aurora...

  • i agree with u Northax on wat u said. but i think the russian are upgrading their airplanes without developing new ones because they dont have the funds do so. look at europe!! all of em came together to make the Eurofight typhoon. only america and prolly china have enough money to dmp in those huge R&D projects.

  • That's becuase discovery channel is bullshitting all the way. it's afraid and don't want to praise sukhoi because it knows that su are more superior planes when it comes to air to air. not only that pilot skills and experienced play huge part in it too. discovery channel is bias and bullshit.

  • niiice....i liked ur time line

i disagree...i mean a f-22 might have a significant kill rate than the f-15's and 16's but a single f-22 is worth like 8 f-18's...i rather have the 8 f-18's cause 1st u can deploy them in different places and 2nd its a better deal

  • Uh... worth 8 F-18s? And you're smoking what, exactly, as you type that? The F-22 costs $120 million dollars each; mostly because so few have been purchased. The more bought, the cheaper they'll become. Probably down to 90 million if they buy 1000+. F-22 can be used as a stealthy AWACS that can easily defend itself. Sorry, 120 mil is way worth that.

  • More like 335 mil per copy.

  • No. It's 120-130 mil a piece. The extra has to do with other things, and that goes for any other jet fighter, as well. Thus, a moot point.

  • Russia didn't have that in mind, so they continually upgraded their Su-27s to be more maneuverable. U.S. have different theory when it comes to air combat: BVR, which is more important, not WVR as much in recent times with missiles that can way outmaneuver the most maneuverable jets out there.

  • America hasn't upgraded it's F-16s, F-15s and F-18s that much, since we've been looking forward to the F-22 and F-35 for more than 20 years now. It'd be dumb to waste millions in upgrades on outdated airframes, when we're bringing in STEALTH fighters to take their place. No one ever thinks of this.

  • Post the link to this supposed Canadian beating U.S. pilots please. And I bet it's based on many other things, IF true. F-16 is not as maneuverable as F-18 below 350 knots or so, thus I bet this is how F-18s got better shots on F-16. F-16s will beat F-18s 350+ knot speeds, and will beat Mig-29 350+ knot speeds also.

  • Northax

keep dreaming your Fs will never outmaneuver the Mig-29

  • lol good point maybe even a mig 21 if it duz happen i will be there lol

  • i think for some reason's, top 10 jet fighter's from dicovery ch. was based on track record or the history itself and based on their own categorie, it included vintage fighters like the P51 mustangs, probably in the top 10 modern jet fighters, no doubt about it, sukhoi's will be included in these categorie probably in number 2 slightly behind the F22 raptor, number 3 for me would be the typhoon eurofighter

  • Engknogrks.

F22 my ass. they never went into full scale production. there might be a few out there. the one they chose was the F35 the cheaper one. this is one sign that USA has somewhat a developind problem with finances. as we all know that the price of a dollar will continue to fall this problem will get bigger.

  • sry but the f-22 is in full production since 2007 for the airforce and the F35 will start production for the Navy and Marine Corps in 2008. Get your facts right.

  • Whats the title of the background music?

  • Yeah id like to know too....But he said he didnt make this video.

  • I think it was especially made for this video. Caus no one seems to know..

  • Russian aviation industry will forever be a thorn in McDonell Douglas' and Boeing's side. Results will always be superior in engineering and manufacture, when there's more than just a government contract at stake. When it's also a matter of national pride, the big boys of US aviation will get their ass handed to them.

  • Boeing LMAO. Boeing makes planes out of defected parts. Thats why they keep on going down one after another.

  • Really? Is that why Boeing outsold Airbus in the airliner industry?

Go look up Boeing 787 Dreamliner. STFU, if you know squat. Where's Russia's airliner industry, if they're so (supposedly) superior at aeronautical engineering? No where. Thought so. :)

  • Is that so?? I assume you're intimately familiar with it. First hand experience probably. I mean, how would any Russian bumpkin know what true freedom and free press really is?

  • Infact it was at trenton air base in 2004. of our top CF-18 pilots vs. your 2 top american F-16 fighter pilots. And we won, and that was from the F-16 pilots, we train outr pilots for at least 3 years, you guys, mabye one. We have few airplanes, but when it comes to war games, we can do buisness. Lol, and i'm not trying anything here, just saying nothing like good old friendly rivalry.

  • This planes are the real deal. Trust me, the f-15 is an old bird and cold put up a good fight, but when it comes to it, its the pilot. But think, su-35, thrust vectoring nozzles to start. You guys have been fed to much propaganda, i watched canadina fighter pilots beat 2 f-16 pilots in war games for heaven sakes.

  • Yes Russian Plance are crap in Hands of Iraqies ...or any other 3rd world coutry pilots .

  • Russia has some of the best aircraft designs in the world. Their flaw is in their quality of manufacture. If America, or Europe manufactured these designs, it would be an unbeatable force.

  • Sukhoi is da best. PAK FA better be good

  • Good thing the "cold war" never went beyond cold. It would've been the mother of all wars put together.

  • gotta love the russian aircraft. personal fav is the MiG series.

I'll leave that "truth is, the American Armed Forces are the most skilled soldiers in all the world, in every division." left by XA2I3RX comment alone, too easy to pick that apart :)

  • oh man, for a price you can go for a ride in a MiG. right to the edge of the stratosphere. i am saving up and can't wait.

  • Oh man that Su-47... I think I just came.

  • It doesn't matter what the Russian soldiers "ACT" like, truth is, the American Armed Forces are the most skilled soldiers in all the world, in every division.

  • Oh yeah? I'd like to see American soldiers take on Isreal. And how come every time Canada's military forces practice with American ones the Canadians win 90% of the time?

  • ROOOFL, WE TRAIN the Israeli soldiers you moron! And where in the world do you find a stat like that?

"And how come every time Canada's military forces practice with American ones the Canadians win 90% of the time" Find this article for me LOL

  • Su-33 is the best. known for its long steady cobra maneuvers

  • Never under estimate the russians...

  • the Russian army is well trained and act like REAL soldiers...I wish the american soldiers didnt act like asses (laughing, jokin around) y'na what i mean?

  • awesome... cute chick
