the "Mad Love" movie soundtrack introduced me to this song when I was 15. That sdtrk had SO MANY good songs on it, including Madder Rose - Ultra Anxiety, check that song out
Nice link on Deadspin.com to this video....what a nice discovery, reminds me of my favorite decade when "alternative music" was indeed an alternative to mainstream.
Everytime I hear this song I always think how Adam Sandler must like it since it sounds like the song he sang in the wedding singer about his exgirlfriend.
Thank you thank you thank you!!.first seen this video on 120 minutes, went out and bought the album and played it constantly.Brings back the memories!.
The band is underrated, unfortunately. They actually don' t have a sound of an american band. A great deal of bands from the US were either like Sebadoh or Pearl Jam and likes. To me, american rock of the past decade was too blunt and predictable. Magnapop were different.
I remember this song was on the TAco bell cd that I bought for like 1.99 back in the 90's...that was a great cd..had spin doctors, cracker, enigma, general public, velvet crush, lotion....fabulous
what a simple video but i love it

Damn. Ruthie is one awesome guitarist. Her playing reminds me a great deal of Bob Mould, who produced this album.
