The Locust on Fuel TV? I've never watched Fuel TV, but it sounds like some annoying MTV-ish station. It looks really funny seeing The Locust on it. :D

Fuel TV is for "extreme sports" like skateboarding, BMX, snowboarding, etc. But this is one of the shows that doesnt show much of that hehe.

Bobby's tend to be in the higher registry with a lot of crust and crackle to them (sounds a bit like light tube distortion). Justin's are a bit closer to the mid register, are generally cleaner than Bobby's, with a characteristic yelp to them. Joey's are lower register, have a darker timbre and more of a "yell" or "growl" tone to them. They used to be far more similar but have spread out a lot as of New Erections.

I totally agree with you. There self-titled lp all the way to Safety Second, Body Last was amazingly badass. New Errections is good....but not amazing like everything else. This is like Joey's third voice. He sounds nothing like he did on self-titled/Flight of the Wounded Locust or his second style of voicing on Plague Soundscape and Safety Second. I hate all the doomy slow shit.

The locust have been doing there own thing for years, regardless of the so called "punk rock" that has been formulated and marketed to 15 year olds across the country. one of the main misconceptions that people need to start rethinking is that people are "selling out" by being on a larger label or being on some tv show, it's just not the case, chances are Fuse were going through bands to have on their shows and someone mentioned the locust, it's not like they paid them a grip of money to come on or told them to play some green day cover or some shit
