  • Fieros were ahead of their time with those air brakes ; )

  • @1BlubeTube

Actually it's closer to 3000 lbs with a 3800 in it. Not to mention the shitty transverse engine layout allowing for only garbage fwd transmissions. This is coming from a serious enthusiast. Trust me, getting one in the 7's is not cheap or easy, nor has it been done yet. Not one with a stock frame and layout anyway. Search FieroX.

  • That time is no where good enough for a car like a Fiero, it should at least do 7s, I meen come on, its only 2,000 lbs.

  • @1BlubeTube It should at least do 7s, really? Can you not comment on anymore car vids til' you learn about 1/4 mile times? This is probably a budget built street driven Fiero and now it can run with a new Dodge Viper or Corvette ZR1 with drag radials.

  • thats pretty quick

  • I stopped watching when the music started.

  • I'd rather listen to the car than this music cilp, kk, tnx.

  • This video was x3000 times better without the music you added. It really kills it

  • wtf is with the stupid music dude we want to hear the car

  • i had a 88 fiero but sadly totaled it i am looking to get a new one i am just wondering what kind of tranny are you using on your 3800 or would it be best just to go with a v8 im not sure just different ideas i have heard any answers?

  • Rofl the head lights...

  • lmao at using the headlights as an air brake. i love it

  • Do you think it's possible to shoe horn in a 6.1 SRT8 engine into a Fiero?

    Just askin' 'cause I'm curious

  • @berner You can run up to a 400 cu in (6.6L) in a stock cradle Fiero

  • @westworth327 People have put LS7's in Fieros, which is a 427.

  • @TommyKress88 yeah I bet even larger!! But I was talkin bout the stock cradle only handling a 400 cu-in motor. What I heard at least. I've seen hopped up motors standing out the back of these things but I'm keepin it on a realistic/easily achived level here, lol

  • @westworth327 A small block chevy won't bolt to a stock cradle at all, but with swapped motor mounts any LSx, including the 427+, will fit just fine.

  • post this again without music

  • Need some 200 MPH tape on your headlight lids! Great vid. Awesome Fiero.

  • @bsm1984

had to or they were going to pull it. sorry

  • This was an awesome video, until you added the music.

  • This was an awesome video until you added the music.

  • Haha, I like the light flaps at the end to slow you down. I do that shit too

  • why do you open the lights at 1:04

  • Headlight brakes.. Genius! lol

  • Yeah i really liked this video...until you put music in it. You pretty much trashed a good a video. Nice fiero tho.

  • remove the music fagot... this sounded great till you added that gay fucking music,

  • I liked this video until you put the music in it. You pretty much ruined an otherwise very cool video with putting music in it.

  • ditch the music

  • Funny how the headlights popped up.

  • @Ireg2post1 They pop up at 120 mph because of to much pressure. It is cool to see.

  • @NoveltyNick wierd mine dont.....the pop up at 140mph

  • eesshhhh!!!, big fan of the camaro and the fiero, how close was it?

  • lol do those pop up headlights double as air-brakes?

  • @LIGHTRONIX It just happens when you have pop up headlights on a fiero. They will pop up around 115mph. And if you don't have the GT Front bumper the fiero creates lift at 110mph lol.

  • lol @ the headlight covers :)

  • What is that noise at :29? Nitrous purge? Any info on your setup for us?

    Great video!

  • sexy car love the sc sound what pully u got on her

  • im thinking about buying a fiero for my first car, would it be a wise decision?

  • Well, considering that they are at least 22 years old... maybe not.

If you are looking for a fun little car that can be a nice little toy, then yes... GET ONE!!

  • yes. suprisingly cheap on insurance. I did it and to this day I still miss my fiero. people who don't have one don't understand!

  • @JJJCHEVY how much would it cost for me to actually put money into it and make it into a nice looking car, outside and engine wise.

  • @hahameZX Hellz to the no

  • Is this at orlando speedworld..??

  • sure is

  • @Billybo455 Oh..cool...yeah..I was just wondering...lol....thought it looked familiar.

I live down in vero beahc and I used to go up there every once in awhile with my old boss. He had a 70 plymouth GTX drag car.

  • Driving a Fiero at the strip: Win

Driving a Supercharged Fiero: Big Win

Driving a Supercharged Fiero at the strip while listening to Creed: Fail.

Nice fuckin car dude. Can't wait till i get that engine in my 85'. Until then...

  • hahahahaha

  • @amtrack04 Creep was playing at the drag strip. I'd rather listen to the car than the crap that is being played over the music of the supercharger.

Uploader, can you remove the noise that covers the real music?!?!?!?!?!

  • @amtrack04 Trying to troll someone by naming the wrong band: Fail.

  • @sweathogsparky He put an audio track over the video. Before he did, you could plainly hear Creed playing. Now who's the fucking troll? Dipshit.

  • @amtrack04 You 're still a troll. Now an angry, butt-hurt troll.

  • @sweathogsparky Whatever, Dude. If you want to spend your time creeping youtube to mock people's comments that aren't even relevant anymore, you go right ahead. I hear those fry machines practically run themselves now anyways. Reply with whatever comment blows your skirt up. You'll get no more reactions from me.

  • @amtrack04 Why so angry little man? See I know you are little if you drive a Fiero and also by the display of Napoleonic complex in your posts. You should call down a little and realize that, while I am sure your wife is pretty and all, incest is still illegal in most countries.

  • lol HOLLY FUCK

  • I'm about to finally get my '88 Formula out of the garage soon and I have 2 questions. How much power can the getrag 5 speed hold (is the a getrag fiero that does 10's or close) and what does the 3800 SC swap run stock on the 1/4?

  • Although the headlight doors popping is usually an annoyance... those noises with that speed makes it like you have air brakes like a fighter jet! :-D

  • good video, bad song lol :)

  • lol yep you went 122. After 120 without a hood vent your lights will pop up. Or if you don't put flush mounts haha. Anyways nice. I have a 86 fiero SE with just the V6. gonna start Working on it soon.

  • Hah, man... I don't know why the headlights always pop up on some of these Fieros. When I was really immature, I would take my relatively stock Fiero on the highway at 120+ miles an hour and never had my headlights pop up. Mine is an 87 SE (aero body). My front tires are smaller, 205 / 60 / 15 compared with my rear tires, 235 / 60 / 15. Maybe the angle has something to do with it? I certainly wasn't running 11s though... maybe a 16 flat on a good day...

  • @Todd82TA He did that on purpose

  • Wait so your saying 150 shot with a 2.9 pulley will make you hit 11's? I'm trying to find the cheapest route to hit 11's... I'm thinking: Intercooler 2.9" pulley Headers Exhaust Intake injectors and nitrous (how much would i need) Think that would do it?
  • i'm saying you could easily do with a 50 shot. a 50 shot i was running 11.6@118. i had a ported blower and N*tb

  • Comment removed

  • i was running that w/o the RR's. built trans. and to run 11's you really only need tuning. i tuned for nitrous. i was running a 150 shot on top of a 2.9 towards the end and i wouldn't launch it hard. maybe 1.8's it would run low 11's @127-128 vs the 100 shot at 123.

  • What Exactly are you running in your build? i am looking to buy a fiero, I have access to an GTP 3800 series 3 motor, i read all the comments but could you give me like a full list of mods? Also, what are you running for your 0-60 and 1/8 mile?

  • you know its an awesome car when the pop up headlights double as pop up air brakes! lol!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL... the pop-up headlights reminds me of the air-brakes of the upgraded KITT (from Knight Rider)

  • Did you just swap the whole drivetrain (including trans) out of a grand prix or somthing?

  • Awesome run.. I run 11.3 with my 3800s/c Fiero as well.. You have to love it.. I bought Don Kraus's Ferrari replica..

  • lol at the lights. I've never had the problem...but then I still have the stock 2.8

  • My 86 GT doesn't have that headlight-pop-up issue. Weird.

  • i have some questions ive built a 526 hp sbc and im trying to figure out what im sticking it in going to be a drag car someone let me know a lil bit about this build and what that kinda power will do plz and ty

  • @bellasdaddy100

if you do a fiero the 3800 is the best way to go for drag racing. there's isn't a manual trans that can hold the power of a v8. the three fastest fieros are v6's....

  • So what did the camaro guy say when u got back to the pits after you smoked him?

Ha Ha!! I love seeing these V8 guys get beat, they can't take it!

  • go longtitual with a th 425 tranny. there will be tons of room to work on the car. were as all other swaps seem cramped to work on. check out my longtitudal Big block video there is a ton of room an you would only have more with a 350 an the th 425 will take as much power that you can throw at it.

  • lol air brakes!!!

  • I got a hood scoop on my hood, and the lights will not go up. Now if you are in Germany where you are required to have the headlights on on the Autobahn. The automatic popping lights for the fiero wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

  • AcryllicWonder, if your doing a 11.326, you are most likely doing over a 100.

BTW Vent your hood, and cable the covers to the actual head light mounts. (detach before opening ur hood tho)

  • is that stock 3800scII

  • Let there be lights!

  • LOL HE TUNRS HIS LIGHTS ON TO SLOW HIM DOWN... LOL ya they are pretty BIG lights the force of the wind pushing them back is kinda like a chuete...

  • Haha wtf. No no, the pre-88 headlights had an issue with pressure buildup.. Sometimes at high speeds +100, the lights would just pop up. Either that or this guy was being a jerk lol

  • i have a 1986 fiero fastback and you are right about the light. the fiero store has shit to fix that. i not like going that fast anyway my die. on the highway that is.

  • The lights go up themselves at 120 in the fiero. That's why it's recommended to have a scoop on the fiero hood to let the air through and out.

  • At 120 mph, in the fiero they lights go up by themselves. That's why you have to have a norman hood or a hood scoop that let's the air exit from under the hood.

  • or you just pop the hood latch an the air excapes from the sides . the hood floats about 1 inch or so.

  • CALL ME SEXY BOY!

  • LOL!!!! More psycho stalkers.

  • You said this turned you on baby. Do you really want me to stop? :(

  • Those 3800 SC s are hard to beat...sweet!

Thanks for the ride Billy boy. I posted the "Hot stock 86 Fiero GT" I love these performance videos! I do think I'm going with the 3.4 OHC rout with mine when my 2.8 gets tired, and I get throug playing with the stock engine. Love these Fieros! Keep those Fiero action videos coming fellas!

  • I have a fiero I am building right now and I was wondering if anyone could tell me which is better to go with based on weight, torque and HP a 3800SC or an LS2

  • toss up if you go with the 3800sc change the head gaskets and get a upgraded tranny the stock tranny is so-so, but as far as power the ls2 is faster but you might get better mpg with the 3800 if you care about that lol

  • MPG doesn't bother me. I got a Getrag 5speed already so now I'm just thinking about the engine lol. Thanks for the suggestion =).

  • parts can be a lil more on an ls2 then the 3800 II s/c l67

  • Mainly I just want lightweight and hopefully to push around 360-420ft lbs and maybe 300ish hp

  • gotta go with the ls4 for torque. Then you can use csb parts for everything and it will own a v6. sorry 3800 guys. fact of life.

  • 3800prodotcom, you will see 3800 series 2 engines running low 8s on factory blocks, and last time i checked any gen3 V8 running 8s is way bigger than 5.3L, sorry man just a fact of life.

  • Did anyone else notice how it seems to come out of the hole really soft until a second or two out, where it then looks like the bottle came on or something? IS this car on the bottle too? How is he tuning it!?? lol

  • He just peddled it dude, if he floored it off the line he would probably roast them and loose traction

  • Awesome sound!

  • That's why I would NEVER do a SC car. MAN that thing is loud.

  • And this is why I will.

  • LOL. I love that response...^^^^^

  • yeah gotta love it when the headlight covers pop up. i've had that happen a couple times in my fiero

  • I had it happen going nearly 140, scared the crap out of me.

  • No.. no.. not headlights, They're airbrakes!

  • Great vid! That thing came out of the hole nicely. And great frontal shutes at the 1/4 trap lol.

  • hey what motor do you have in that

  • sounds like a 3800SC(L67 w/ an m90)

  • i had to watch twice to make sure i saw it...anyone else see the headlights pop up? great run too.

  • What was that hissing sound that started at 1:00? Awesome car by the way. What else do you have with that engine?

  • I loved the speed brakes at the end of your run (1:04) !

  • 442rwhp in that video. i'll be on the dyno in daytona if they do one this year.

  • how much power are you making? quick fiero man nice work.

  • my dads fiero could probably do that

  • nice comment....not!

  • Hey i got a question i got a fiero as of right now im redoing the in and exterior but when i do my engine i wanna do a 3800 sc swap but i want it 4 speed is that possible to find or i was thinking since ive never seen it done i was gonna put in my fiero ford sho v6 yamaha what do you think is it possible to but in the sho motor cuase i have one of tho's tranny n everything but i no its possible to do the 3800sc so should i just buy 3800sc instead ???

  • you can do a 4sd 3800sc. i'd stick with a gm motor because it's been done many times and it's a lot easier to find info on.

  • you're gonna have to do a lot of cutting on the decklid. but any of the old 2.25 stage 2 intercoolers work fine.

  • so does the intercooler have to go between the supercharger and the motor or can i locate it in the trunk and run tubing

  • if you go turbo you can do that or centri supercharger, but for the eaton it has to go under the blower.

  • what intercooler should i get for my 3800 fiero

  • there is a conversion to get rid of the pop up headlights.... i had many fieros and i have done it to every one of them and it helps alot

  • pretty quick car

  • lol your headlights popped up.... ever think of the convertion?

  • lol those are his air brakes.

  • damn i've been DYING to find me a fiero for a SC 3800 swap. what's in that lil thing?

  • intercooler, cam, n2o

  • which cam? vs? xp? i have an xp lying around. i'll DEF use that bad boy on the L67 for the fiero once i get the engine.

  • XP. hoping to get some video in the coming weeks. st 3 turbo cam, gt K 850 turbo, and some other goodies...

  • why not keep the xp cam in? i hear it's similar to some turbo cams and can punch out a LOT of HP with a turbo, just as much, if not more, as a turbo cam. a buddy of mine can push his turbo gtp in the 11's with his turbo/xp cam setup. i can't IMAGINE what times you could push out in the 1/4 mile with a turbo

  • i know the xp can make some decent power, but i'm going for a little more then the norm and i'm going to be running e85 now. the st3 will lose less boost from valve overlap which will help me some to. i've got a pretty well matched setup for what i'm wanting. i think my new times will be fairly impressive. hoping for a 140ish trap.....

  • AH e85. THAT'S why. damn your car's gonna DOMINATE at the track. get some vids man. DEF get some vids

  • lol, i like your "air brakes" there. quick car.

  • lol, i had the same prob with my L67 fiero. ended up taking out the headlights, riveting down the flaps, then replacing the front turn signals with hella ff75 driving lights. they put out as much light as the stock lights ever did. man i miss that car. :(

  • You coulda just made some recessed lights and contoured the covers with lexan to blend with the hood.

  • osw

  • Is this a V8 or a 3800 GTP? Awesome run by the way. It's funny to see the lids pop up.

  • 3800sc

  • well the advantage is the v6 is smaller not so heavy in the back if it was me i would try to get a 50/50 try moving some stuff from back to the front or senter

  • 50/50 isn't the best. it's different from every car. my car won't be close to 50/50. ton's of weight in the back.

  • well when you stark makeing more power the front wheels are going to want to get off the ground ive sen them do wheelies all the way down the track on street tires thats the issue im talking about

  • ingageing air brakes lol

  • LOL! You know when you're hauling ass in a Fiero when the headlight covers flip up! Very nice!

  • Great run!! Camara guy was like WTF??

  • I meant Camaro guy

  • What transmission do you have in your fiero?

please respond installing 3800 in my 84 fiero?

  • 4t65hd that's built.

  • thats built ? dont now what this means?

  • it's been upgraded, input shaft, shift kit, hardend 4th gear, 3.29 gear ratio, better clutches. stuff life that.

  • "built" likely meaning that it has been rebuilt with heavy duty specific components

  • Man, you suck! You got close enough to me with the Eaton, and now you're gonna be running a Whipple?? Guess it's time to find that 70rwhp I'm missing and stuff a bottle in the back seat. It damn sure won't fit in the trunk! :)

  • DEPLOY AIR BREAKS!!!!!!111111oneoneoneeleven

  • HA HA HA... I was reading that shit and then l loked at the video again and was laughing my ass off.

  • lmao! your headlight covers popped up just like mind did on my L67 fiero! :P

  • was wondering what kind of set up you have i have my car running 12.9 in the quarter at 106 was wondering if your car is on the juice? thought i heard you purge it on the line

  • 2.9 pulley, xp cam, 1.6rr's zzp stage 4 blower, s2 intercooler, 60lb injectors, triple edge trans, comp springs, 100 shot, some other stuff i'm sure.

  • I got a question for you...What axles are you using? All my axle angles are correct but my axles keep twisting on me.

  • homemade axles from a few cars out of junkyards. i've got about 20 passes on this setup now with no problems. not to mention over a 120 miles at roebling raceway in ga, and about 15 autox events.

  • I like the air brake headlight covers at the end. Fast car!

  • AWESOME!! the power of the v6!!!

  • troll someone elses video. When will we see a transverse v8 fiero built by cletus or using his parts run a 11.3 at 121? Thats the question. Qtr mile list has a v6 at the top. Whats the excuse from the v8 owners?

  • Come on! There has to be some slow V8's out there that take that long!

Go to the list that says V8's honey. There are a lot on there. It's the first page. ;)

  • the win light comes on for the fiero. i don't think anyone on real fiero tech is as fast as me. i'm listed number on pennocks right now to. well in the transverse setups. next time out i'll be 5 tenths faster then the closest transverse. so if you think you've got something to beat me. willing to put up some money?

  • I know. You cum really fast... err Go fast.

  • your retarded

  • why's that?
