  • guys if you use earphones to listen to this, try taking one out of your ear , this does away with the interference from outer space. it worked for me. ps try both ears .

  • Did you make that camcorder yourself? or is his bag full of soapy bubbles?

  • I can see where MasteMark is coming from - this video is horrible and give no credit to the abilities of this piper or the beauty of the highland pipes. Of course, Ken Eller's mugshot does not enhance this whole experience either. LOL!

  • Mastermark is an eejit. Only a sassenach would think the sound comes out of the bag. It comes frae the chanter thicko

  • LOL I guess this is a Bagpipe lovers site .... and I am out numbered. I just don't know anyone who really likes the garish sound of what sounds like choking a goose .. It's shrill to the ear and must be played loud so the sound comes out of the bag. Rather much like a kazoo. It's best heard from miles away at dusk in the glen in Scotland.

  • Sae, is that the reason why most Sassenachs run awa, when they hear the sound o' the Pipes an' nae eveb see the Piper, or just fear like often the times before?

Best when ye just grawl back under yer stone where ye came frae.

  • @MasterMark123 pipes can be played in a variety of venues and with other instruments. Look up battlefield band on youtube. Have a listen to the beautiful music of Mike Katz. There are also many types of pipes that are played in different keys. These are almost always b flat unless one uses an A chanter to play with fiddlers or guitarists. Small pipes are much quieter (usually) and are keyed in many keys (D, C, A, G). Have a listen to Carlos Nunez as well. He is amazing.

  • I actually know Allan and he plays a lot better than this sounds.

  • Aye.

A broken Chanter-Reed is nae the fact what shows the quality o' a guid Piper an' he's nae really that bad. His tunes are played well.

  • Mastermark talks bollocks, enough said.

  • damn you, tha bagpipes are a privledge to play and hear!

  • I would beg to differ about people liking the bagpipes, I play about 2 funerals a month and over 10 weddings a year. Take note of the numbers of people who attend highland games in the United States, and the numbers of people at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Before you make generalist comments do a little research.

  • Even here, in Spain, there´s people that likes the bagpipe. Long live Scotland, the pipers and the bagpipes!

  • uggh, this guy is a good piper, but I think the camera can' take the sound or something...

  • Is that *Arthur Bignose* yes im sure it is.

    well played!!!!
