Clips are often metal pieces designed to hold a small number of rounds that go directly into the firearm or help load MAGAZINES. For instance, the 8 round Enbloc clip for the M1 garand. There is no magazine there. A magazine holds a numerous amount of bullets, that can go in or out of the firearm by a release.
