@ram6190 thanks for watching, I'm really sorry I don't know much about names of scales and all that. I'm pretty sure everything there is pentatonic I think in D minor? and techniques well there's plenty of legato and pull-off's and alternate picking and just a lot of bends and vibrato.

it all depends on what you want to sound like. Some guitarist get by with overdrive pedal and a stack amp because that's what they need because of what they play. I can't get by with only that because i like to add different textures while I am playing. Also, playing a guitar solo with no background music demands you add at least a bit of reverb to give space to your solo, otherwise is too dry and lifeless

it really doesn;t matter if I tell you the settings, they will sound different through another amp, the settings on the randall are very peculiar too to work with my pod x3, plus, i don;t have the pod with me right now, don;t know the setting by memory, I know I am using the solo head amp

no, el pod esta emulando el 1993 solo 100 head y el 4x12 1967 green 20's cab, lo paso por el canal limpio de la cabeza del randall, pero la equalizacion del amplificador no es normal

tengo el volumen del canal casi al maximo, el bajo en 0, los medios al max y los altos en 0, y el master volume lo suficientemente algo para yo escucharme, no digo que eso es lo que tienes que hacer, simplemente funciona asi con ese amplificador

:) you can't imagine how many times i had to tweak my tone to get it. As you may know I use the pod x3 live, I tried to get similar tone to Slash's live tone on the use your illusion tour. I am going through the Randall amp I won on Shred the Web 2008, it is pretty goo, it surprised me because it is the first time I play that amp at that volume
