Being peace keepers back in the day with U.N. backing was one thing. I would only hope we are doing it to protect from countries that would dare to bomb others with nukes. Deterrent yes, Russia will naturally be pissed. The U.S. cannot take over the world, nor does it want to. I would hope we don't loose perspective, and protect others defensively, not offensively
