Yes, the new vocalist is bad. He lacks vocal power and charisma, and repeats the same ridiculous gesture all along.

Besides, this new song is a mediocre mix between late Deathspell Omega and Marduk. The guitar tone is good for a live setting though.

@Vorkus01 J'ai regardé d'autres prestation de groupes au Hammer Open Air (notamment Grand Belial's Key) et il n'y a aucun problème avec le volume du chant. C'est juste que Vestal n'a quasiment aucune puissance vocale, je le sais car j'ai déjà entendu des brouillons de son groupe.

Mais bon, c'est la crise et Merrymacdonald's n'est pas épargné.

New vocalist is shitty... his vocal is so poor... try to find video featuring Kaosbringer and you can compare.. it's not equipment problem, just vocalist problem.

And FUCK! Teach him another hand movements except "two fingers"... yeah, I understand, he want to be as "religious" as possible, but it looks shitty and annoying.

Vestal is good, its just because of the video quality and when i look to the others comment i can see the quality of all bands voices seems not good. look merrimack at deathkult open air 2011 its better than this.

The problem did exist with SW as well, just not as prominent. Primordial was fairly ok, although I wasn't right in front of the stage at the time, so can't say how it sounded. Inside was a completely different setup and worked better. Always harder with acoustics inside.

merrimack wasn't so good live band because those vocals didn't hear at all :-(

@muthafack True, but that was a problem for all bands at HOA. The vocals were much clearer further back.

@schwartzkopf666 yeah, but at the indoor stage that wasn't problem and when primordial and satanic warmaster played they didn't fave any problems with vocals
