Hi Hiluss,

Thanks for your comment. If you want to stop them from spinning you will need to make sure they are rigged straight. Some times they come down the hook a bit and they will spin. I hope this helps you.

I prefer to reel them slow. Rod tip high and reel it under the surface over those shallow weeds. When i get a follower, i pop the bait out of the water just like you see baitfish doing all the time, and try to change direction. Doesn't get all of the followers, but a few of them will just go nuts the minute the baits comes back down into the water.
