  • jay's spot on dude. toby smith and stu zender. nice. not really likin that orchestra though.

  • top o de game !

  • i just had a music orgasm

  • only a pity that the violins/violas aren't tuned well. Rest = absolutely fabulous

  • BEST PERFORMER SINCE A LONG TIME .... !

  • Jay Kay sounds like a mix of Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye, awesome

  • holy fuck. Is that not the best snare you have ever heard in your entire life?

  • @alienworkshop468 McKenzie is a damn good drummer.

  • Love the strings.

  • Awesome! What type of Warwick bass is that Stu Zender uses? Please, help me! :)

  • @kulcsarpeter91 Back in the day he had a Steamer stage I. 4 string i think. Later he got the Iroquai patterned 5 string. Don't know what kinda that is. Thought it was Streamer broadneck. And don't now which one he is using at this gig.

  • corvette,,,,, later he got a signature of his self

  • it's indeed a streamer, this is a 8 string, but he doesn't have the octave strings on it.

it's the same bass as in the space cowboy clip.

    w00t, super cool!!!

  • @kulcsarpeter91

    warwick iroquai rug bass

  • el sombrero le da onda

  • quie sexy las minas que bailan atras

  • I was convinced he was lip syncing till over halfway through the video. Seems he can't pull this song off to the same caliber today as he could in '97. Still, great track. Fairly tight band.

  • He is amamzing, saw that tour in the states in Atlanta !!

  • @gypsycherie I dont know who wrote this comment but it wasnt me! Havent lived in Atlanta for 30 years and never saw this group..who used my name?

  • Im glad stu played the ol red warwick in this one

  • best singer.. ever!

  • Where can i get this concert?

    Thanks for the video.

  • mateusz krautwurst-virtual insanity it's great too !!!

  • i want that hat...

  • You to? I guess we'll have to fight for it ;)- Peeese!

  • I truly love this performance. Thanks for sharing.

  • fabulous xD

  • The Space cowboy at his best.

  • i SAID THAT TO beavercreekhigh

  • do caralho!!

  • No he doesnt and its "woman" dummy

  • yEs, that's your opinion, you know what is mine? you don't know ANYthing at all, about really good music stuff. LOL

  • u dont know shit

  • He sounds like a...women? Oh you must mean woman. And just for that comment you should be wearing a dunce cap.

  • Here it is. A guy who understands music a lot.

  • stuart's bass is not so up the mix in this ver. still freakin awesome tho

  • wow they were dead on this time!

  • lay off the drugs. Blake has nothing on Jamiroqua especially considering the latter is the one who composed it.... Kids these days....

  • I thought they used violin instead of viola in the track, or they have both here?

  • JAy Kay is soo BA, I wanna See Jamiroquai soo bad. Every live performance i have seen on video has been really tight and his voice is to die for

  • it is just insane!!!!

  • I really want to go see him!!

    he sounds so good live!!

  • his voice is so strong in this performance.

  • JAMIROQUAI=THE BEST

    VIRTUAL INSANITY=1

    SPACE COWBOY=2

    LITTLE L=3

    and make more...

  • here is my opinion:

    scam =1

    mr moon=2

    virtual insanity=3

    space cowboy=4

    slippin' n' sliding=5

  • Virtual Insanity is my favorite song.

  • El bajo del señor Stuart Zender luce como si fuera un modelo "Warwick"

    Am I wrong?

  • White Stage 1 Bass. 1997 - White Stage 1 Bass.

Según wikipedia en el año del video usaba este bajo... pero no estoy seguro de que sea correcto ^^

  • This just might be his high water mark as a singer. Might be. To me, at least.

  • Very very good indeed. never sen this one before. I also thought the violins sounded ok. Its not like Jay to allow out of tune strings..hes a perfectionist. His albums are recorded in 1 take....none of this splicing the best bits together. Love the live stuff....seen them 39 times. Thanks.

  • He might record vocals in one take, but the instruments are carefully edited...

  • i think EOPE/ROTSC was more of a live recording thing, whereas the following albums definitely had a lot of chopping/editing using computers and sequencers. you can tell especially in songs like traveling without moving where they obviously use loops to build up the song...then they totally overdid it on the dynamite album.

  • Yeah....you are right. Thanks for the correction.

  • fuck u

  • I like the voilins sound in this better than the actual song.

  • I wish Stuart Zender was still in the band :(

  • godlike

  • this band rock!!!

does anyone have any new of this band? coz they were telling a lot of diferent thigs.. so i have no idea of whats going on...

  • what u mean

  • Great song. Amazing performance, incredible backing band. Must rank as one of my all-time favourite records.

  • i really love jamiroquai

  • omg hes awsome

  • this is the best i have ever seen!

  • I wish there was a video to the song Everyday, that was my favorite from their album Traveling without moving.

  • Looking for Portishead on the white room. Can anyone help

  • He is a fusion between Mark Wahlberg and ian Wright!!

  • now that you said it, he does look like Mark wahlberg O_O but I have always thought he look like Ian Wright from Discovery channel's Globe Trekker

  • XD XD blake has been compared with Jay?? ..please

  • I dont know why people keep going on about the scatting though. Jay always used scatting in his songs eg Blow Your Mind (over the trumpet solo), Space Cowboy (after the second chorus) etc etc. Just that Blake took all aspects of Jamiroquai and ripped them in one song but the Americans didnt know Jamiroquai well enough to figure it out. He brought nothing new to the song.

  • i have to admit blake did the song justice when he covered it, and the scatting was a nice touch. but jay's definitely better...blake had to drop the key just to sing it, and still was off on a few parts. respect to blake, but way more to jay.

  • Quite an old song but still gr8 and he sounds just as good live than on CD! lol violins are shit!!!! lol

  • ja ja, you're right in both things

  • wow perfect!

  • Nah no way can you compare that American bloke to Jay. Jay has a unique voice the other bloke sounded like any other singer covering a song. Wait to see if he can sell millions of records and has a career spanning nearly fifteen years. String section sound tip-top adds another dimension to an already technically amazing song. Top stuff

  • Blake Lewis is much better. American, vote 4 Blake!

  • blake lewis is fuck all compared to this infact hes not even a great singer so i dont know why you even thought that sophia0795 anyway 1spacecowboy1 got his say right on but i suppose i can forgive you for your american views sohia silly as they are!

  • You can't compare the artist who actually composed this song to someone who did a cover of it.. and Blake's had a very hard time singing the high parts.

  • He sounds great live

  • is it just me, or are those violins way out of tune? i find that hilarious, that the rest of the band is right on target, which is hard for singing i imagine, but damn violins haha

  • I wish he did more with his vocal. But nevertheless, he's a good live singer :)

  • They play that bridge live on the dynamite tour n i think they do on the afo tour

  • all swinging so coool! why don't they play that developed bridge as on the album? this one for example wasn't a fest but solo appearance so why not?

  • he is the god

  • Wow! Amazing proformance. What countries the white room from?

  • This is a great live version

  • Como mola sta cancion. El principio con el bajo y el piano....no me canso de escucharlo
