  • i hear a fs 2001 and thunderbolt 1000t

  • storms at nigght are the worst i use to live in kansas now i live in nebraska both places where tornadoes happen the most but i have lived in more places those are just the tornado alley ones ive lived in

  • i used to live in topeka and we had tornadoes all the time.

  • It's a dreadful to begin with, but when a siren goes off int he middle of the night it gets twice as scary (been there). Another thing that scares the crap out of me is when the NOAA radio goes off and I just about jump out of bed!!!

  • @1975allieh I had one of those--scared the shit out of me when I lived in Wichita every time they'd go off for a weather watch/warning. Now I just get text messages on my phone if any severe weather is approaching my area.

  • i remember that. I had to be up for work at 4 am. there was 100 mph straight line winds if i remember correctly...

  • they are now having an in house alarm system that wakes up people during a tornado warning....

  • @PINKluvr01 Could you tell me some for of that ? What kind op system is that ?

  • FIRE PAGER!! or a spotter scanner going off

  • That is a federal 2001 siren. nice vid, keep it up:)

  • holy crap city17 at night!

  • I love hearing that siren

  • wooo hooo!

  • wth is that a scanner in the background?

  • Yeah, it's a police scanner with the cops/chasers on it. My Weatheradio was also still broadcasting the warning and hadn't shut off yet until towards the end of the video.

  • I remember this night. I was on patrol when I kept hearing the reports from other agencies as far as Hays, Kansas. It was about 12:30 when dispatch came over the air stateing that the national weather service has issued a tornado-------she cut out then the next part said effective until 12:45 am a moment of silence then the sirens went off..in the back i can hear a thunderbolt but more of the old school modle 5 lol ill never forget that fun night ,oddly our cell phones cut out during the storm

  • 2001-srnb thunderbolt 1000t

  • I was under my pool table lol.

  • I'd hate to be awaken in the middle of the night by one of those.

  • shoot. I live here in SC, and I've been in one tornado(maybe it was one I was young and don't exactly remember)and we've had warnings and watches but none have ever touched down. Remind me never to live in the midwest and tornado alley. I don't know if I could handle the summer time there. We have a lot of the afternoon heating of the day type thunderstorms here. They can make some noise every now and again.

  • I am from Norway and i was one year in usa i have been in usa many times i love the country, but when i live there i studio on a american school when i got home to my second family house the sirens was going off it was COol i have never been in a tornado warning:)

  • I was working still, everyone in the club took the hell off and emptied the place, it was scary as hell though, we weren't affected by it.

  • geez that's scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • west of lawrence and north of uptown had quite a bit of damage from this tornado.

  • 2001, 1000T in the background. :)
