  • WOW!!!!

  • yeah

  • OMG...tis seam like a really good movie. wats the movie called ? is it jus called Alexander the great?

  • fuck you guys

  • my god.. I adore that movie and these two are so .. unbelievably fitting..I don't know

  • Of course and Jared Leto is more suited for that role!!!!!!!!!God!!!!!!!!Besides,Brad Pitt was filming TROY that time so he would be too bussy to do 2 big movies...!!!!!!!!!But,who cares he's just SOOO gorgeous(Jared Leto)!

  • Anyway it is a good thing Brad Pitt was not taken for the role of Hapheastion as Oliver Stone had decided earlier.

Fortunately Brad turned the role down and Jared got it. Jared is best suited for that role !

  • I'm TOO lost in you Jared Leto!!!

  • Too lost in you to...and now?

  • Excellent job, loved the music!

  • i cant get tired of watching videos from the greatest movie ever, in my opinion.

i'm just addicted to that movie and besides that, to the amazing love story between Alexander and Hephaistion *-*

    Its awesome :D

    and love the video!

    5*

  • I have no idea why some people are so offended when someone says that Alexander the Great was bisexual. I mean, is it so hard to think that someone as Great as Alexander could've been bi? That's pretty offensive too, people.

Besides, all you history folks, Alexander and Hephaistion lived like over 2000 years ago so who can possibly know what they were up to back in that time? To be really sure, you would have to ask them and that ain't easy unless you're some kinda time-traveller.

  • i totally agree!

  • Thanks :D

  • Ptolemy, the later king of Egypt, said in his history that Alexander was only every defeated by Hephaistion's thighs, so i think there was something going on there, that was more than friendship.

  • Yeah I think there was something more than friendship as well.

  • @kuvasz13

And what about all the religions then? What about God? Yeah, they should realize, it was over 2000 years back and still people can say there are no informations about Christus? No, because there definitely are informations. And it means Alexander the Great wasn't such a mistery for the history at all...

And I support the hypothesises, which talk about Alexander's realtionship with Hephaistion. Physical but mostly psychical.

Why? As you told, it was 2000 ago and it just went that way.

  • @twofataldays Err, sorry but I don't really get your point there. What does religion has to do with this? ^^''

And wow, I didn't expect someone to reply to a comment I left like a year ago xD

  • @kuvasz13

I tried to send another comment, where I wrote that it sound a little bit attacking and I didn't mean it that way.

Actually I tried to second your comment-even when it doesn't look like:D

I reacted to the part when you say that it was over 2000 years ago and we can't really know what they were up to. Well, I was saying that Christus lived over 2000 years back and we do have informations, so it means that people really shouldn't doubt the fact that A&H were involved with eachother.

  • @twofataldays Ah, alright :)

  • @kuvasz13 Your accually incorrect. Alexander was not bisexual. He was gay. He took his wife for political reasons and for an hier. He only ever truely loved Hephaistion. And he took a great many male lovers.

  • @JayneCoshie Look, I don't care whether he was bi or gay. My point is that it's stupid how some people get offended when someone talks about the love between Alexander and Hephaistion. That's all I wanted to say.

  • @kuvasz13 Ah, I see. I misunderstood you, my fault. And I agree with you extremely. Love is love, and thiers was real and beautiful. People have no right to be offended.

  • @JayneCoshie Indeed. They really loved each other. Plus, Hephaistion helped Alexander a lot and stayed by his side no matter what. Alexander wouldn't have been half as great without Hephaistion's love. I just don't see why anyone would get offended by such a beautiful thing :(

  • @kuvasz13 Because there's still so many ppl who're severly closed minded, and judgmental. I call that a lake of evolvingxP

  • @kuvasz13 Exactly!. Such a deep true love is just BEAUTIFUL, no matter about genres, love is the greatest thing and only prejudice and ignorance could deny Alexander & Hephaestion PRECIOUS LOVE.

  • @JayneCoshie My perception, was that Alexander was n "equal-oppertunity" lover. He only truely 'loved' Hephaestion, that much is painfully obvious. But I think he's actually like me... capable of loving, being attracted 2 peoople, regardless of thier gender. I think Alexander was one of those 'evolved' ppl, who loved without limitation or restraint. Which is a rare, but amazing thing^__^

  • You clearly aren't a student of history. They were childhood friends and while Alexander loved Hephaiston, there's no evidence they were 'lovers.' The only hinting at it comes from Roman authors, and like it or not, it was intended to be an insult, same as they did with Caesar.

  • I disagree, there are more proves that indicate that in deed, Hepastions was more than a friend to Alexander. You can't judge the idiology of a culture more than 2,000 years later in our modern frame. An I AM a history major :)

  • I never said Hephaiston wasn't more than a friend to Alexander. They were extremely close. What I said is there is no real evidence they were lovers. All the information of Alexander's life comes from Roman authors or Greek authors living in Roman times. There are no contemporary accounts. As far as ideology of an ancient culture, you're right, you don't judge from a modern frame, you judge from theirs. Homosexuality was not as common as pederasty. And I AM a history professor.

  • great video but i hope that you don't believe that this is true. i mean the real Alexander was not gay of course. and i hope that you all know it.

  • Yes, Alexander WAS gay, really. It is historyally fact.

  • well, as Alexander is my favourite and i have studied his life in detail, i assure you that Alexander The Great ws not gay and that Hephaiston was JUST his best friend!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • First: Hephistion wasn't JUST a friend. Wether they were lovers or not, Phai was THE BEST FRIEND Alexander ever had. Second: it wasn't meant as an insult, all men were bisexual at the time, and so was Alexander. Third: some recently found letters from Olympias to Hephaistion clearly show that he was the one Alexander LOVED. In every sense

  • Jared's look tells so many things, he's a great actor! Very good video!

  • great job! i love jared and farrel

  • *cries* Damn! Now I'm crying! I blame you *points at BlindedJustice*.

  • Oh my gosh, so beautiful!!! Waaaah... <3

  • Amazing:) I love this move and this vid - great job:)

  • Oh my God! That was so beautiful! One of my favourite songs and favourite movies! And Jared Leto as Hephaistion.. If this isn't perfect, I don't know what is..
