@polinsteve The difference is teens are learning to drive. Someone who has been driving for 50 years or more should know better. They have no respect for anyone else on the road. That's why they drive 30 MPH below the speed limit. They think just because they have no lives and all the time in the world that everyone else must too. I got stuck behind some old douche going 10 MPH in town and they almost made me late for work cause I can't pass them inside town. Fuck them! Take their licenses away!
I think the bigger problem is that it's a woman driving ... and is that a Chevette? I can't honestly say that I'd really give a crap if I hit something if I was driving a car like that.
Why do so many retards insist on reversing into parking places - especially at supermarkets? They then have to squeeze down the side of their car and someone elses to get their stuff in the boot. It is also far easier to drive forwards into a parking place and then reverse out into the much wider aisle in between the parking places. This approach also allows ready access to the boot when they have bought their ready meals and oven chips.
I guess people have it in their mindset that backing into a spot is somehow better than backing out.
Anyway, as for people parking close to me and I have to squeeze into my car because I can only open the door 3", I have a bottle of brake fluid for that.
i usually back in so I can just pull out, but I don't do this when going grocery shopping. I back in because I can't tell you how many people decide that that is the best time to walk behind someone. I have nearly hit multiple people beacuse I was trying to back out of a parking space and they just kept coming. Just when I thought I could go... here come someone else.
the only reason to park forwards is boot access, reversing in is so much easier and safer though.
1. forwards you need a wide area to turn into the space to prevent the front of your car going into the space next to you - this applies when reversing out.
2. much safer to pull out forwards than backwards as you have a much better view of other cars or people
3. why do you think you reverse during the Bay Park in the driving test?
4. you're in the minority, don't call the rest of us retards.
i agree with some laws rstricting teenagers from driving. why? because teenagers are idiots who love to race and drive fast, i know because i used to be one of those stupid teenagers. one thing is for sure, teenagers drive better than old farts who cant even see where they are driving and are too senile to understand road sigs, OLD PEOPLE SHOULD NOT DRIVE!
funny everybody mentions the laws on teens getting out of control how funny is it that they increase the price of already mixed drinks to insane prices because they think it will make us buy less so we dont get as drunk hahahaha now 16, 17, 18 yr old kids r gettin the pure 2 or 3litre bottles mixing it themselves and gettin 10x's more fucked up,, good on ya pollys,,
nd wtf seriously if ur a bad driver u'll always b a bad driver these news laws ont do shit!!
OK I was on the road behind this car speed limit 55 this car in front of me was going around 35 or a little under so i was like ok wtf is this guy drunk so i waited for a passing zone pulled up along side this car i look in his window and there was this must have been at least 90 year old man with a OXGYEN mask over his face behind the wheel i just kinda looked at him in shock he dident even look over at me as i was driveing along side oh him looking at him...
Tell me about it lol. I was Driving around yesterday and I was driving in a 40 mph zone and I was behind this car and it was going 25 mph. I was like wtf?? I pulled up next to it and sure enough it was this little old lady. Then I was driving in a 25 and this car was going 10 I went to pass and the car cut me off with no signal. I zoomed over to the left side and sure enough old ass man. Then I was downtown at night and saw 5 cars with old people in them with no headlights also driving very slow
I bought a nice new harley "night train" this past summer and on the day I was schedualed to bring it in for its break-in tune up some old gal 79 just ran right into me ... said she didn't see me. Its odd that I hear about SO many new rules for young drivers, when its the old drivers that seem to be always crashing into things
the difference is that the politicians r all old so of course they wouldnt restrict themselves but teenagers r fair game for whatever stupid laws they feel like enstating
Couple of weeks ago an old bloke came so close to hitting me - i was side by side with him going round a round about (i was in the correct inside lane) and he just straight lined the whole lot and i had to slam on my brakes and drop down to first. The next day i was stuck behind another oap for 10 minutes doing 20mph in a 40, then he just goes and runs a red light at a crossroads. Im 20, but im not a boy racer. My insurance will be £1300 but an OAP's is a hell of a lot less. how does that work?
I live in a "retirement town" and there have been around 10 incidents of old people crashing into buildings, cars and people in the paper over the last year.
Unfortunately, this includes my nan who managed to drive up a car parked in front of her....
I was travelling at about 15mph as the road was littered with branches due to high winds.
I was coming down a hill near the top and she was coming up the hill so I was silhouetted against the sky.
and yet she still turned in front of me when I was about three meters away! When I went to check she was alright, the first thing she said was "oh, you must have been going very fast, I didn't see you!".
How can she get the car jerked so far back? Can only be the result of extremely bad dexterity. Turning the wrong direction can only indicate a total collapse of the long term memory.
hey...men are the ones who are filled with roadrage and actually attempt to hit the other person..lol..atleast when women do it its an honest mistake:P lol.
There are bad and good drivers at any age. For proof of that, just look through the many videos on this website showing younger drivers doing incredibly stupid and dangerous things with a vehicle.
totally agreed. my sister died in a car accident..we always told her to settle down..keep both hands on the wheel, we're not on a racetrack.suprise suprise it wasn't her driving that did it. ice on the road did, and another lousy driver who swerved into her lane, and didn't look back to see if she was ok said eye witnesses. sucks..their shouldn't be an age limit on driving..only a knowledge limit.
Perhaps tougher testing and greater efforts to remove obviously poor drivers (whatever their age) from the roadways might help considerably. But, judging from Europe (where many countries require weeks of schooling and testing for prospective drivers), even that won't stop accidents.
Sadly, there just doesn't appear to be a way to completely remove human factors (mistakes, oversights, distractions, etc) from driving.
looooooooool funny as fuck.but not so funny if there was a kid walking behind the car or some1 with a pram. i be moving 2 essex after xmas, looks like im moving from a place with a bad crime & murder r8t to a place fulla dangerous grannys lol
Next time you make a video, hold the camera still and turn your music down. Just a tip.

The thing is, old people have slow stupid crashes and young people have fast crashes so does that mean only middle age people should drive? :P

@SBTGOG89 In that case please explain why:
Teens = Highest Risk Group: For every mile driven, teens between the ages of 16 and 19 are four times as likely to be involved in a car crash
Disproportionate Population / Fatality Ratio: Teens make up 10% of the population but represent 12% of car crash fatalities
Maybe teenagers should not be allowed to drive.
