Misty, although I never got a chance to watch her do it, my grandma (a Texican/Okie) used to make butter from raw goat's milk. It was delicious! I'd drink raw goats milk at her house, too, which made the cows milk I'd drink at home taste like water. I've a question for you. I didn't notice you adding salt to your butter. If you do, at what stage do you add it? Thanks for sharing, blessings to you and yours, the Tank (wallydat1)
@wallydat1 She must have had a vream seperator, or some how to do it, it is much more harder to get if off than from cows milk...It is good, I say it did taste like water...I add it to it when the butter is done, I mix it in then chill it...Thank you....
my wifes got a hand crank chopper that came with some paddles that uses similar to a dixie butter churn that she uses but she dont make it often enough fer me to have buttermilk n cornbread which prolly better i dont have it all the time with my blood pressure and being high and my cholesterol being up there too
This is so awesome! I thought I'd have to buy one of those expensive churner things to make butter. I can't believe its so easy! I am definitely going to try this. Thank you Misty! :)
I was showing my mom your videos from mistyshooter223 and noticed you said you had another channel. So here I am.....your biscuits with homemade butter sound so good. My mom was born in Alexandria, Tn and she loved your videos....she doesn't have a computer so I shared you with her......Bless you Misty :) c
Thought I'd sub ya here, just in case YT gets its shorts in a bunch over the rabbits. I will never understand the sensibilities (or non-) of the establishment-types when it comes to demonstrating survival skills...go figger. Anyway, now got you both places.

This is great! To separate the cream from the milk, all I have to do is let it sit for the night?
