How about don't go because the Hawai'ians don't want you there as U1BaBuze's post shows. But, of course, the Hawai'ians want to be accepted wherever they travel. They just don't want you in "their" neighborhood. Aside from the obviously fake and forced "Aloha Spirit" attitude you find in Waikiki, the rest of Oahu is extremely unfriendly toward visitors. Save your money. Go somewhere you'll be welcome.

Hey, this guy forgot the most important tip of all..... DON'T FORGET TO GO BACK HOME AFTER YOU VISIT THE ISLANDS!!!! better yet, don't MOVE to the islands and grumble about the lifestyles of your neighbors.
