its really real. There's a version of flashme (DS replacement firmware that ppl who use homebrew have if they have a GBA Flashcart) that supports the DSL's 4 light settings, but doesn't have an exception for the NDS which only has 2. The result is a backlight that will live significantly shorter.

This is fake. it's a camera trick. Notice how the background goes lighter when the ds "lite" is turned on low light. and when it's set on a high light stting the background gets darker. I know how to do this effect. This video is fake.
This video show that a old NDS, can also have the NDS Lite best option. The DS Lite will come with four adjustable levels of screen brightness, with the maximum setting being five times as luminous as the original DS's. That video show that in NDS can also be the brightness option.
Is there anyone who has a dutch or english guide of how to do this? i want to do it with my ds too

Idiots, it's real and I have my ds phat like this for as well with flashme.
The problem is that it only works with some of the latest ds phats, because the old ones don't have the right chip.
