Your Prime seems to have lighter blue than mine, is this a variation and if so, which is rarer?

There are multiple colors to this version of Prime some are blue, some are light blue and some are almost a shade of purple. There are actually more colors then that, but those are the most common.

Well, I have him, and I've transformed him many times since I got him off eBay, and he's held up pretty well, the only thing to be careful about is when you flip his legs down, do not use an all around grip, just press your palm against the back of the legs.

My Optimus prime lost most of the paint on his mouth plate. Today I bought aluminum enamel paint and restored his mouth. The paint is drying and it looks great.

It was extremely difficult to play with when I was a kid.. thank the Lord for Imagination..kids these days wouldnt be able to play with stuff like that anymore.. I always dreamed about the day when the figures would be better.. now they finally are and Im too old to play with them..crap..lol

His fists were never meant to go in the cab open the trailer and you see three peg holes now these are for the fists and the fuel pump thats also why the hose is long the fists fit in the holes by the repair robot

I was watching the end of this video and noticed your trailer differs to mine. I have the "standard" trailer. The standard one's Roller spring-boost thing is dark purple. Yours is gray. It doesn't launch Roller that far, because the rail is blocked in the middle by a plastic stop. I opened the trailer and cut away the plastic stop to make the trailer launch Roller to the very end.

Optimus Prime was my second Transformer. I got it 20 years ago when I was a little kid. Back then I just couldn't believe it when I opened my birthday present and saw Optimus! It was like getting the holy grail. I was careful with it. However, I broke his gun in half by accident because the center of it is very thin and fragile. I also lost Roller's black PVC tube for his oil pistol. Besides that, I have all the original accessories and packaging.

Being that you lost the hands is verry cool. Its a true toy that's been played with I've never seen the trailer opened till now. I dont know whats in it! Jazz is cool too its more nostalgic that its been played with. not worth much b/c its your toy but I would love to pay top dollar for a fresh one I can put miles on!

Althought the articulation wasn't great, he's still my favorite and in my opinion the best incarnation. Plus he's metal, something most kids these days have no idea of, haha.
