What would be cool is if you can watch the entire thing without having to hit any buttons... like an actual cartoon. That would so rule! (Like an unlockable mode or something)
Unfortunately the gameplay portion doesn't appeal to me. :/ Such a shame. Looks great to boot.
Not trying to bash or anything, but this seems much simpler than the American releases of the "Dragon's Lair"-esque series of games, as they tell you what to press where you have to perceive it in the American versions.
I used to own this for 3do, for some reason I loved it. It gives me this weird nostalgic feeling, like a lost cartoon from my childhood. I don't know why.
I like this game a lot actually, and I like that there are 45 different endings, depending on which stages you play in different orders. However, however, the buttons you have to press don't seem to go along with the animation most of the time.
Hey, the moves make sense in this one! I was playing the 3do version on the emulator freeDO, and the moves weren't making sense, at the part where you pressed the "power" button over and over to climb up the cliff, my version had me press right. Is my emulator messed up?
I have this game for the 3do , i always felt the animation was terrific . It's not in the same style of Dragon's Lair , it's more of an anime style , but there are some excellent sequences throughout .
I have this game but on 3DO. They
sold this in the Philippines back in 1995

I love those Laserdisc games and Strahl is quite nice even. Sure, nothing beats Dragon's Lair and Space Ace, tho. :p

My personal favorite is Road Avenger(aka Road Blaster). Gotta love the theme music added to the Sega CD version.
