ok dude have fun with the 12v that have the killer dowell pin, and dude the 24v is a stronger motor and you start off with more power, its a stronger motor. oh and the 7.3 powerstroke is the best motor of the powerstrokes. all the newer motors have turbo problems, ive had 5 powerstrokes and the 97 i had my best friend bought and it has over 500,000 miles on it and hasnt had a problem with it.

so my 2006 cummins 6 speed got 22 mpg towin a 1500 on a 20 foot trailer, my 6.0l ford one ton tow truck i use dosnt even get that towing nothing and its a6 speed too so i think its safe to say shut the fuck up

my grandad had a 98 (year before the super dutys still squarebody) 7.3 powerstroke and it had 350k on it and still ran like a dream until he sold it, im not here to say fords better than dodge cuz i know cummins are bad bitches, the 5.9 anyways but the 7.3 powerstroke was too

that should have nothing to do with shift points, thats all done with the TPS. There should be a rod thats linked into the throttle assembly that you can shorten or lengthen and thats were yiou get your shift points, i would say that is your problem
