  • Ah this is soo good! The old owen pallett..... He seems so much more serious now (not that it's a bad thing)

  • Owen is from Canada, so if he calls it a Canadian folk song, I'm going with it.

  • One internet source saying such does not mean it's actually from Alaska.

  • Oh, I love this song. I think my Grandpa used to sing this one at campfires. He really like Canadian folk songs. His favorite was the Black Fly song. Good times.

  • damn he can play can't he

  • From wich province is the song from?

  • might this be a Stompin' Tom Connors song?

  • My mistake, it's called "When the Ice Worms Nest Again" and one Internet source traces it back to Alaska. It was re-recorded by Sharon, Lois, and Bram in 1992.

  • lol well if its from Alaska then i guess its not technically Canadian. :P but its still fun to know it was done by SLB

  • Hee! This is a riot.

  • cool hehe =)

  • haha...he is awesome

  • It's a regular acoustic violin but he has a pickup clamped to the side of the fiddle. Then he's running the sound through pedals where he can record a loop or change the sound.

    He's quite entertaining.

  • Is it an electric violin?

  • wow....i love this....

  • Agh. He's so cute.
