Dude, I knows it's boring, but unless you want to spend money on crashes don't do any "forward flying". You need to master sideway's hovering. Right. Left. Then Nose-in. THEN YOU SHOULD START forward flight. Just my opinion, ofcourse. I can't stop you from rock and rolling. Just don't become a permanent sports flyer who can invert for 2 seconds, but keeps crashing when making fundamental "right turns".
