Stimulating muscle and strength increase isnt rocket science. Stay consistent and it increases with time, unless you have bad genes, then take up some other hobby which is probably more useful.
for day 3 he did 12 reps to demonstrate. following his lead of 12 reps(4 reps of each of the 3 types of pullups) is the routine complete after doing 36 total reps(by repeating what he demonstrated 2 more times with 60 secs rests after each set of 12 reps for a total of 3 sets) orrrrr is the routine complete after doing 108 total reps(by repeating what he demonstrated 8 more times for a total of 9 sets with 60 secs between each set)????
when i work out doing pull-ups i always go top bottom front back in other words pull-up squats then push-ups jumping jacks that way my muscles always stay loose allowing me to do more because i am drawing the blood into different muscle groups all the time so when i Finnish the cycle and start at pull-ups my muscles are depumped allowing me to do a full set again. i never decrease my reps using this method

Aren't you going to overtrain your lats like hell. Any average gym rat will be sore after day two, unless they don't push themselves too hard, and then they'll be working out with sore muscles for 3 additional days. Something sounds wrong to me here. I'm not questioning the program's effeciency, because clearly it works, I'm simply just wondering :)

@aleksandrascc I reccomend you to do more cardio exercises because cardio burns up fat. You might already have abs but what does that matter if they are covered with fat ? You need to burn that fat off your belly so cardio is your best bet.

@aleksandrascc Yes! by Cardio i mean jogging/running or if you can afford you can go to some gym where they must have those stepper devices or treadmills. Those you can use for cardio. I have good experience with those elliptical trainer devices i used when i was practicing at the gym, i managed to loose about 5-6 Kg of body fat in a month using those.

@aleksandrascc Maybe you are just young, it takes time to build muscle. If you feel like you have abs and you just can't see them then you have to lose fat. You need to be at a low body fat percentage to see your abs. Try intense workouts that keep your heart pacing fast and also watch what you eat. Hope this helps. Have a great day.

Some kids did get ripped; however, that was due to their individual genetics. Keep trying because you'll definitely have a good base to build upon once your testosterone levels increase.
@Lkmerkz You do realize that the teenage years (14-24) is the time in a mans life where testosterone is mass produced. When you get older, your test levels usually lower.

if you want abs you have to add in cardio.. you already have abs they are just underneath any fat you have on your stomach and the only way to get rid of that is cardio training

Im in highschool. so if i did the pushups in the morning, then 6 hours later when i get home from school could i still do the pull ups and get the same results... or does it matter when you do the pullups after the pushups, as long as long as you do then 2-3 hours after the pushups?
@droog713 Id imagine you would have to use either bicep curls or a similar exercise like pull-ups, lat pull down, etc. in the morning instead. so that your hitting the opposing muscle to ease the stress.
Not sure you would want to do push-ups and dips at the same time though, they work very similar muscles and you'd be getting twice the fatigue and strain. I'd pick one of the two and use that, mostly the same muscles only difference is difficulty.
@droog713 Start with the pull ups, then after do the dips, then after do the push ups. I super setted all three and I like it. Try it out and see what works best for you. Have a great day.

@nfrost1986 I would recommend using those oversized rubber bands, or a friend can spot you,,, while you pull, he pushes you up as well. We do this in the Corps to get that extra 2 or 3 out of you. Dips are great too! Hope this helped brother

Ive been following your program exactly with max effort. I'm on my 5ft week and I've only improved from 13 pullups to 14. It's kind of discouraging. Whats the deal? why arent I improving?
@fightallthetime You should probably eat better or you aren't actually doing the workout. I'm doing it with my friend and he's never worked out before. He's gone from need 80lbs of help to only needing 35lbs of help in the last two weeks and I've gone from 10 pullups to 19 pullups in the same time. You need to do exactly as the workout says or you won't see the results.

@jgbelmont This isn't the uploaded responding, but tour body doesn't know if it goes to the gym, so as long as you're training hard on your entire body with correct nutrition and sufficient amount of sleep, you can look like this guy in or out of the gym.

Do 1, rest for 10, do 2, rest for 20, etc.

Ive been following your program exactly with max effort. I'm on my 5ft week and I've only improved from 13 pullups to 14. It's kind of discouraging. Whats the deal? why arent I improving?

Everyone is different. Don't expect to see major improvement unless you are eating a good, healthy diet with lots of protein, vitamins, and minerals.

@fightallthetime You should probably eat better or you aren't actually doing the workout. I'm doing it with my friend and he's never worked out before. He's gone from need 80lbs of help to only needing 35lbs of help in the last two weeks and I've gone from 10 pullups to 19 pullups in the same time. You need to do exactly as the workout says or you won't see the results.

Put down the keys to the car for a few months, if you have been driving for a few years and see if your happy with your body when walking. I wasn't and it made me pull out the chin up bar and put in work!!

do ever think about incorporating some horizontal pull ups?yes vertical pulls such as pull ups develop mainly the lats and upper back,but what do you do to develop the inner back? balance is key, when you either push or pull,weightlifting or body weight exercise, whatever it may be, you should push and pull both horizontally and vertically..you should try push up one day and pull ups another day,except have variety of different exercises each day,variety and recovery is key aiding muscle repair.

@jgbelmont This isn't the uploaded responding, but tour body doesn't know if it goes to the gym, so as long as you're training hard on your entire body with correct nutrition and sufficient amount of sleep, you can look like this guy in or out of the gym.
