and Shepherd sends a guy to infiltrate, guy is used as a scapegoat for Russians to start a war, You fight Russians as US military, but the real story is with getting Capt. Price and finding where bad guys are hiding out. Shepherd kills off Roach and Ghost so he can erase everyone who knows about the Covert missions, Soap and Price are pissed, you kill shepherd and set the story straight with both sides in the war. if you watch the scenes before the levels you would know this.

It was like if MW2 was just you as the US soldiers, It would have been repetitive, Boring, and lacking real character development, I mean c'mon, every time a guy on my team in BO died I didn't give a shit, Because they didn't give you a reason to give a shit.
