  • UGH, what a pointless vid.

  • What? A full load isn't to the top of the sides? lol

  • That truck dumping a load is a metaphor for this video.

  • he can load an euro locomotive on that truck while still having some space left :D

  • CALLED A SUPER DUMP dumbshits !! carrys a little more than an end dump. wasted 1.05 min on this dumb vid.... damn i need a life

  • Its a Mack... She will handle it.

  • How much are 6 and 8leggers allowed to carry over in the usa please?

  • @dozermad100 Some states 73,280lbs, some 80,000, we usaully haul between 22 to 25 tones(2000lbs per) legal,//

  • @4624tone Thanks mate is that on 3 or 4 axles? We can only carry between 18-21tonnes on 4axle rigids, 12-16tonnes on 3axle rigids, and 25-31 on 6axle artics.

  • agreed a waste of my time. So he pulled forward an extra time. Big Fucking Deal! Looks like he delivered his load with no problems. LOL I said load. Funnier than this gay ass video.

  • At first it didn't look to overloaded but when I saw the pile afterwards i realised how much was actually in that truck. cool vid.

  • I'm pretty sure by overloaded, he means weight.. Idiots. You are only allowed so much weight per axle. Sure the truck could handle it but it's not LEGAL. That's what he means. All of you saying he's not over loaded, can you tell how many pounds that load is? My god you people are idiots. You obviously don't realize there are weight laws in place for trucks. That's why there are scales. I really can't belive the stupidity.

  • @chevrox21 well they must never drove a truck and had to regester and be caught over the weight limit

the fine sucks when u get caught with 2000 pounds overweight

  • @pastorgeorgem your a muppet. a truck had a sticker in which it is rated to what it can carry, this truck is probably rated at 16-20T. its carrying what an 8x4 or tandem should carry. here in new zealand its 5 grand per ton your over in weight. do the math.

  • you shit-tard this truck is no where near it's limit. get the facts strait

  • cool but not over loaded

  • OVERLOADED? - umm, what video are we talking about? lol.

  • boring

  • this isnt overloaded. Now overloaded is what i did with our old shitty international tandem dump bed. I laid that motherfucker over when i was 16 with the ram fully extended...Fun day

  • Driver was smart to not lift the bed all the way up. Let the load trickle out some a little at a time and you don't end up with weight up high when the hoist is all the way up. And no -- not overloaded.

  • thats not over loaded idiot

  • This is heavy sand I can tell

  • that was a wasted 1:05. I was expecting to see the truck flip over, not watch you HICKS argue about the truck being overloaded!

  • @sj0bs1 and whats wrong with a hick

  • @sj0bs1 fuck you

  • @sj0bs1 no one made you watch the video

  • @sj0bs1 u mad bro?

  • WHEN UN PRIVATE PROPERTY IVE OVER LOEADED MY TRUCK A FEW TIMES ,DAME U AINT GOING FAR AND U WILL BE DUMPING ON LEVEL GROUND ,as long as u dont leave the property to go out on the main roads or anywhere ,u be fine ,.i wouldnt want too be caught with a overload ,the fines too high 1.50 per pound would want the fine thanks .D.O.T. robs the truckers any way .. why give them a stupid reason stay legal

  • It's a tri axle, so with float tires on steering axle he has four axles total @ 20,000 # each . Truck will weigh about 30,000 so he's allowed 25 tons of material.

  • Sand is very light, it doesn't even slow a dozer down. I doubt it was overloaded.

  • @huckstered It's wet?

  • Bet this truck wasnt overloaded.............

  • How can you tell if a truck is overloaded just by looking at it???????

  • @25mfd if youve been around trucks a long time you know normally the tires are squashed you can tell if a van is loaded or empty because normally if hes loaded he's loaded hi tandems should be slid back

  • @Tamyiatruckfan22 Unofficially, squashed tires or the truck sitting lower than normal is a STRONG indication that the vehicle is overloaded.(or it could be low tire pressure or a busted spring as well)

But in this case the poster claims the truck was overloaded just by looking at the volume of material dumped.

If the truck is mechanically sound, the only true way to determine if it's overloaded is to run it across a scale.

  • @25mfd YOU SAID IT ALL LOL Agreed This TRUCK did not appear to be overloaded the truck lift ram wasn't even struggling

  • @Tamyiatruckfan22 You also spoke of sliding tandems.....Tha tandems slide in order to "scale out" the entire vehicle.

By sliding the tandems in one direction or another, this will place more weight or less weight on the TRACTOR tires.

You could be well under the weight limit but if your tandems are in a position where they place too much weight on the drive tires, you could still be in violation............

  • @Tamyiatruckfan22 .........say you have a truck with a 40,000lbs limit but your carrying 20,000lbs.

Would you feel safe crossing a D.O.T scale??????

You had better scale out EACH axle.

Weight limits not only go by GROSS weight but by each axle weight.

10,000lbs is the limit for steering axles.

Your load could be situated where your steers are a few hundred lbs over even though your ENTIRE truck is 20,000lbs UNDER the limit.

Sliding tandems fix this by moving the weight on or off tractor tires.

  • I've taken bigger dumps in the toilet.

  • si toi aussi e regarden la video tu as soulever ta souris en le voyent xd

  • @lesvideodejessica Yeah that's what I was thinking

  • thumbs up for dukes of hazzard ramp

  • thumbs up for dukes of hazzard ramo

  • Why would you want the load in a nice pile son? I'll have to be spreaded anyhow!! Grrrr!

  • What weight can you guys haul in a tri axle anyways? I know down in the US you guys have very strange laws.. Our tri axles can take 23.6 Ton with a 20,000 lbs front, 20,000 lbs air lift and 46,000 lbs rears.

  • i always thougt "overloaded" doesnt exist is US ;-)

  • Thats a tri-axle where are you guys trucking here in TN we are legal for 74000 on a tri-axle and 80000 on a quad I had one R-model that I could haul 25tons of sand on its a pretty big pile if its coarse sand hell I have loaded over 80000 on a tri-axle when we didnt pass a scale a Mack hauls it just fine and that was a Mack in the video sounds like pea gravel not sand in the bed though and that stuff is light like cant make gross light and we run high sideboards probably 2 feet higher than that

  • about 30 ton of sand…about same size we haul in

  • @ottofarms with bigger truck though….yes slightly over loaded

  • You're Fired!! Go back delivering pizzas

  • This is a perfectly good dump, good driver, overload tires, what the hell are you talking about?

  • a cubic yard is 27 cubic feet 3x3x3=27

  • Check out the new "Dump Truck" App for the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch!

  • Driver must be in a hurry to get back to the quarry to stop his toast burning at his TEA break,or it is his first day on the job,WANKER!!!!

  • Mah new home of mud!

  • Nobody likes a sloppy dump...

  • Hell thats about ok for that truck its a tri axel. looks to be about 16 or 17 tons there.

  • That looks like a somewhat longer bed than usual. LOTS of sand.

  • That's alright if you want a 40 foot pile of sand hahah

  • Doesn't look like more than 20-25 tons to me...

  • how is that overloaded that's a normal load here in australia.

  • /watch?v=blgL9Bak-G0

  • I run a 6 yard dump. Put 6 yards of oversize in it and I weigh out at 27000 pounds... 3000 over my GVWR :-)

Nice load there, if he is getting paid by the yard.

  • @123MrBurg A six yard dump? How do you get 27,000 lbs.in a six yard dump? Lets see....6 cubic yds.= 54 cubic. ft. ......54 cubic ft. solid granite = 9072 lbs. + - . That leaves 17,928. for the weight of your six yard dump truck. What type of truck is this? It must be extremely heavy duty to weigh almost twice your payload

  • @1rockcut > The truck is a single axle Chevy Kodiak. It weighs out at 12,000 empty. I didn't put granite in there, it was river rock. 1 1/2 size, flush to the top edge with just enough hump to not attract unwanted attention from the DOT. The math says that 6 yds. of RR OS weight out at about 2500# per yard. I can imagine that 6 yards of granite at 9000# per pound might just break an axle if I tried to load that much.

  • @123MrBurg LOL, per yard.... duh

  • @123MrBurg There three types of rock on this planet; igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic. Of the three, granite is the heaviest at 168 lbs per cubic ft. The math says, one yard of stone ( 9 cubic feet.) can not weight more then 1,512 lbs. A 54 cubic foot block of granite will weigh 9072 lbs. + - . I still don't see how you got 27,000 lbs. into a six yard dump truck

  • @1rockcut > 27,000# was the gross weight. The load was about 15,000#. I don't understand the misconception, I have the weight tickets. But oh well, there ya go.

  • Isn't the ticket $1 per pound over the weight limit?

  • @keithrothegreat what state do you live in

  • @keithrothegreat what state do you live in that its like 50 cents in mi

  • @liftedXmudXdigger I live out in Washington State

  • the truck too a major dump lol

  • @tortaelpastor you wasted even more time writing the comment..

  • @MovingUnit I think you replied to the wrong person...

  • @jariroth my mistake, i was talking to the guy below you..

  • @MovingUnit Say that to tortaelpastor...

  • what a waste of 1:05 of my life. I want that time back please :)

  • didn't look that bad to me when you get paid by the ton you load youur truck up and let it roll..

  • nothing interesting there then!

  • Think that would of been near the leagal limit. No way 20 tons over weight.

  • @Sherco312 he didn't say 20 tons overweight, he said 20,000 lbs. 1 ton = 2000 lbs, 20,000 / 2000 = 10... learn 2 math

  • Trucks like this and little cement buggies are called Italian Cadillacs. hahahahahahahaha

  • @madisonelectronic If you're trying to diss their cars, you've seem to have forgotten Pagani, Ferrari and Lamboghini

  • to bad dry sand weighs more then wet sand

  • @35markers how?

  • @35markers wtf are you talking about!

  • @35markers are you retarded?

  • @35markers Umm what? Hey buddy back away from the crack pipe.

  • @vector150 jk guys :), but a wet load of corn weighs less then dry corn i know forsure

  • @35markers I am starting to think...you do not know a whole lot of anything tbh.

  • deepends on the axles under it. with the tripple it might be a leagle load

  • Well he looked like he knew what he was doing . But the problem is when he was delivering the sand was he on a highway or down hill slopes? Trucks that over loaded risk other peoples lives IE This probably wasn't the first time he was over loaded and that will take it's toll on the brakes and people driving in front of him could be killed .I live in Colorado and have seen on the news where this happens .They do have runaway truck ramps but not on every hill. Sorry for the lecture...

  • Just because it fits doesn't mean you should carry it. I once received a load of road salt in a trailer with a net weight of 104,000 lbs and the driver blew a hose trying to dump it.

  • He did it right. Wet dirt and sand is trouble.

  • I could do a dump like that in your driveway no probs. A pizza and a six pack makes it easy XD

  • spectacular

  • spectaculair

  • no idea wht u mean bruv

  • @letsdig18 - its alot more than 20,000lbs. a "legal" load on a 17 yard triaxle body is 44,000lbs

  • the dude didn't even dump it in a nice pile..

  • @espionageinc if he just stood in one spot the truck would be blocking the rest of the sand from coming out kind sir

  • @espionageinc the pile would get way to wide

  • @espionageinc maybe it is because they are only spreading it out on that road...

  • @espionageinc the dozers were gonna push it so it didnt matter

  • @espionageinc probably didnt want to go too high with the box because of tree limbs

  • @needmorediesel yea or un-seen power lines. Ive drove dumptruck & lumbertruck for years, my dad always taugt me, even if you cant see something, like a elcetric supply to the house, Ive learned from being in the tree service buisnesss that wires like to hide, and they get ripped down real easy by dumps, and booms.

  • @espionageinc Why does it matter? its getting spread across the driveway...

  • @espionageinc he dumped in a great pile is spreading by dozer its easier to let the truck start the work by tailgating the load

  • @espionageinc if he dont move forward while dumping he will rip his mudflaps off

  • if that truck was over loaded then my grain wagon must stay extermely overloaded when i am loaded

  • when he says overloaded...he means by weight not by height. wet sand is heavy as shit and can overload a dumptruck easily

  • @beglebite thats still nowhere near overloaded for that truck!!

  • @beglebite that aint no shit, theyre acually not suppoed to leet u leave the quarry overweight, at least in indiana there not

  • @NKVDdevaint1 yup, illinois and missouri are the same way

  • @NKVDdevaint1 Same out in Washington, the bigger quarry's are pretty strict about weight limits, but there are some that will give ya a little extra if you ask for it.

  • @keithrothegreat the gravel quarry in crawfordsville, in would ussually let u leave over wieght, they they only made me dump 2 time out of the many times i was there, but i think i was waaaaaay over weight though

  • @beglebite just as a note, surprisingly, a full truck of dry sand is heavier than one full of wet sand: since dry sand packs tighter you load a bunch more of it

  • @beglebite excuse me,is this sand wet????if you want to see overloads come to greece.what i see is very very easy!!!!!!

  • Overloaderd please!.....he still had room on the sides and the cab protector!!!!

    30 ton ain't shit!

  • All these semi experts posting here...ts ts ts

  • I've loaded myself heavier, wet sand heaped on our dump box, good thing it was for a charitable event in case Mr. Smokey wanted to talk to me!

  • why was this over loaded?and he dupmed the right way, didnt put it up all the way and risk a top heavy load tipping him over, this vid is labeled wrong

  • why was this cool again?

  • ive seen 5 yard loads of sand that top over 15 ton. so its possible for a 10 plus yard load to truly be over 30 ton.

  • A few observations: First, I've checked out several of letsdig18's videos, it is VERY apparent to me that this guy is a true pro and is well versed at his craft so I'll take his word on the truck's weight. Second, of all the videos I've seen from letsdig, they are all accurate and concise, I don't see any motive for him to "lie" or embellish the details. Third, while my experience with this type of earthmoving is very limitied, as a Technical Rescue Firefighter, it sure looks unsafe to me.

  • @MBaisdenProductions my dick would weigh more than that load of sand

  • sky is the limit

  • that truck is light we load our trucks untill u cant load it no more untill our load falls out the truck from all around imagine that an thats wat a loaded truck is

  • But That truck isnt overload no? Not in Holland it is Like that.. With the babypile it left behind..

  • all i can say is " try workin at a quarry" then you will know what over loaded is

  • over loaded me bollix..... u'd move that pile with a wheel barrow..

  • if u want to get it all out fast just gas it and slam on the brakes...its wat i do

  • @oreoshooter they would probly rather save the money and time by just dumpin it out the right way.

  • @hondax450r wtf u mean the rite way it comes out the same way

  • @oreoshooter what i mean about dumping it out the right way is havin the truck fully stopped and liftin the bed up and letting it go. and yes i know it all comes out the same way. it looked like u was tryin to say u back up real fast and slam on the breaks to get the load out faster... if that is what you do thats just retarded cause you can break shit that way. maybe i misunderstood what you was trying to say???

  • if this is an overload you havent seen anything

  • didn't know tailgates could go sideways like that

  • @perpetualmotion192

    AKA Barn Door Gate

  • Overloading the truck is more economical till you cause an accident and you are fined for it.

  • sky is the limit dah lol

  • it looks more cos he dragged it out insted of just tipping it on the one spot

  • And "Captain" Jack Sparrow had only one jar of dirt...

  • Id normally haul 21.5-22.5 tonnes with my 1988 Mack Tri-axle. The truck in video wasn't carrying 30, looked maybe 22 tops.

    Kimmyskunk

  • @MrRex41591 It did have a tail gate.it was swung on the right side of the bin.And how would having a tail gate make it come out easier. If anything the opposite...lol.

  • I think I heard the PTO crying a little.

  • wow i hate reading the dumb ass comments. i drive tri-axle and i haul sand when there aint shit goin on. the truck is definitely over weight. pending on where you live at will matter how much the DOT wants to fuck you over. whoever says dump 1 big pile has obviously never changed a mud flap. 5* bro keep truckin

  • f u

  • Dump it already..., sheesh.

  • You must be equipped with weight scale eyes. Dumb

  • just enough for my sandbox xD

  • That's about 25-26 tons.

  • i mean it...

  • ow crap.. dude.. thats just fucking insane... woooooooohoooooooooooo load that bitch up man... hahaha...

  • who fucken cares?

  • Ive been driving an end dump hauling cinders from Flagstaff AZ to Phoenix for 10 years, we back haul sand and that looks like a lot more than 25 ton imo. just look how far up the sides the sand goes and the pile is huge. Overloaded big time.

  • I think it is between 18,5 and 19,5 tons. So nothing special about this load.

  • Dumb

    Make ONE HIGH pile.

  • thats not over loaded

  • not overloaded about 20 tons thare

  • thats correct...not more then 22 tone

  • Normal truck, normal load, abnormal poster.

  • wow I'm gonna watch that again!! You don't get to see that every day, wtf? Who films a fekkin dump truck dumping some sand?

  • @irrelevantSpoof LMAO :)

  • and the overload? i think it your brain overload

  • i haul that much in my f450 so there.

  • Sand and rock haulers are gay, period

  • crazy upload

  • here, tandem is 22, and tri is 28

  • That's definitely 30 tons. I took a 32 ton shit earlier today, and it was about 2 tons bigger than that.

  • Are you high? It is a normal load.

  • what a slow ass pump

  • I haul loads like that and drink my morning coffee

  • he made a rite ol mess of that

  • not overloaded it was a fuckin triaxle nd didnt have the lift axle down yet nd it looks big because it was dumped out spread not in one pile so it isnt overweight at all never mind 20,000 u fukin pothead
