@italodiscorevival not at all, you're net keeping more weight on the left it just appears that way, watch all the really great ball strikers, they all go into the right leg the same way he's displaying here
Pure gold. Played with a former student of yours, Mr. Zander, he whooped my butt. He was raining balls all over the pin for 18 solid holes. Thanks for the knowledge You give me the tools so I can strive to equal his precision.
Another Josh here. I was an over the top (out to in mechanics) golfer and had a few lessons. They had me put a club shaft out in front of my left foot several feet (right handed golfer) to keep my swing inside more. However, this now made my swing exclusively an in to out swing. I hit it fat and thin. What is a good drill to do on the range (using clubs/shafts) to promote an in to in swing?
This is not a reverse pivot. A reverse pivot happens when the spine tilts towards the target on the backswing. If you watch the video, you will notice that my spine is not tilting towards the target. The way to get the weight to the inside of your right foot on the back swing is to move your hips the way I describe. This will lead to more solid contact.
Thanx for the tip. Good explanation.

This video is very similar to what Hogan says on the backswing.

There is a new training aid called the Turning Point that will get everyone doing this properly

I think that this is very good. I always worry about reverse pivot, but you have proven to me that this can be done...
