  • Is tomato sauce the same as pasta sauce? I'm Italian so I would never buy pasta sauce. Is there a difference between the two?

  • @1lovemocha They are not the same. Tomato sauce is like tomato juice, only thicker. Italian sauce is a ready-to-serve seasoned tomato sauce.

  • how long could this last in the refrigerator? my kids love bbq sauce as everyday dip.

  • @Ladeegrace If you don't let it come in contact with the raw chicken, it will last as long as any of the ingredients last, which is a very long time! Just mix the 4 ingredients together and store it in a covered jar in the refrigerator, and it will be good for many weeks. Just make sure you pour from it and don't get it contaminated with chips, etc. that might get dipped in it!

    --Betty :)

  • betty can you make a stuffed chicken recipe

  • @Canyoudance123 Yes, that is on the list of videos that I plan to do. if you are in a hurry, I do have dressing that you can just stuff inside a chicken and bake slowly until the chicken is completely done.

  • @bettyskitchen cool thanks

  • Is that more like Heinz 57 sauce, or A1? Either way, we have tons of both! :)

  • @peachych1ck I typically use A1 more than Heinz 57.

    --Betty :)

  • i don't know how to cook i don't like cooking, the only reason why i watch your videos is that i find you attractive ;p

Again your uploads inspire me and we adore you. Keep in touch please. Best to you and your family. Love me and Winston

  • Do you have a recipe to make BBQ sauce from scratch, without using stuff like ketchup and other condiment sauces?

  • @nilaya87 Yes, I think I mentioned 2 recipes in this video: Bourbon Barbecue Sauce and Betty's Own Barbecue Sauce. You can find them in bettyskitchen.

    --Betty :)

  • I love it!!! Thanks Betty.

  • if i dont have bbq sauce i usually just do ketchup, mustard, honey, brown sugar and a lil vinegar which are thing i ALWAYS have

  • YUMYUM

  • That sauce looks so good Betty. That would be good on anything, even french fries.I like A-1 mixed with ketscup for my french fries. That steak sauce looks like Heinz 57.

  • Hey Betty, I never tried making my own barbecue sauce before, looked really easy so I tried it on my barbecue chicken very nice and I never would have thought of steak sauce, I'm not a fan of A1 myself but tried something else . Very nice Betty, have a great evening, Diana

  • Over the years, I've made gallons of BBQ sauce… But I've never tried making it with steak sauce. I MUST try this soon!

  • Thanks again Betty... I will try this.

  • Oh, is the tomato sauce just the type used in lasagnes, bolognese and other Italian-style dishes?

  • @ScrewFoxNews Yes, it is plain tomato sauce; it is not sweet, like ketchup.

    --Betty :)

  • did you feel the earthquake??

  • Wow, I do the same way, except i don't use vinegar just the other three ingredients. The other recipes sound delicious!!!

  • @karidlg Thanks!

    --Betty :)

  • Good evening. Thank you for this recipe and this new demonstration. I will try this recipe when I will be in better health because I'm still aliitle tired. Have a nice evening. Respectfully. And thank you to all. See you soon.

    Your friend Sergio le gitan

  • @sergio19243 Thanks for your sweet comment, Sergio. I will have a recipe to use the BBQ sauce when you are feeling better!

    --Betty :)

  • Neat recipe!! The steak sauce is a clever idea. My old standby is ketchup with mustard, sugar and granulated garlic and ginger. I like to add pineapple juice too if I have it. Seems to add sweetness and flavor and allows for less sugar

Thanks to you and Rick!! Love watching yr videos

  • That looks great. I could tell by your reaction to tasting it that it was tangy...lol

  • Love this top on you! Very pretty. Just in case you ran out of kitchen stuff to talk about. You can also make videos about how to keep fit and dress nicely. You are obviously very good at both.

  • The best sauce is always homemade! Nice and simple! Another very good video.

  • I always wanted to see how it is done.. we don't have that in Brazil! you can find it but its not to easy..

  • This looks easy to do. Thanks Betty!

  • This is so simple, and it looks awesome! Thanks Betty and Rick! ;)

  • Is the tomato sauce different from Ketchup?

I don't recall seeing canned tomato sauce in supermarkets here in the UK but maybe I've bypassed it because I don't look for it.

    Thanks!

  • @ScrewFoxNews I think itd be around the spaghetti sauce :3

  • Thanks Betty........js

  • Great tip. Thank You Betty!

  • First to comment!!!

We are finally having nice weather here in Calgary this week.

In the mood for BBQ thank you Betty :)
