  • mmmm coco and caramel sounds good right now.. haha

  • Mrs. Ebony...Your hair is gorgeous! Tutorial?

  • i wear foundation and just saw the commercial for this foam foundation... i want to try it, thank you for the review

  • What color setting powder did you use?

  • haha. love your sarcastic humor. "we only come in two colors" lol . seriously you are beautiful and so are you makeup looks

  • you're beautifull!

  • I didn't really like this makeup on you as much as the ones. I find I have to use two different colors also. Have you done a review on Loreal True match foundation and/or powder?

  • They have dark cocoa but that's a tad too dark for my nc55 skin. I might buy cocoa and mix too. My skins oily so I love the finish it gives and I would never use my hands. I have really bad acne scars but I'm not too worried about covering everything with it.

  • Love your hair color, do you have a vid about that?

  • Thank you for news.

  • i paid £6.99 for mine and im really pleased with it. Yeah, that is a problem with maybelline, they dont do all kinds of skintones, but i got one thats right for me so i am glad about it. I also like it for the fact that i am not in for serious heavy coverage and it looks natural.

  • oh wow good luck on your baby xx

  • Maybelline really does need to come out with more shades, I would be to light or to dark..........

Bleh I'll stick to Mac instead but great review miss :)

  • @colourbeautiful, me and this foundation are in a love/hate relationship right now. As much as I love the look, it did the same thing to me as it did with you, getting in the lines on my face arou d the mouth especially. Going back to my photoready.

  • This is great I really am not a fan of heavy foundation and light everyday wear is what I am trying to achieve...it's a bummer that you have to mix colors... I will definitely try this..Thanks Ebony ..Your hair is growing and it is very pretty.

  • Wow, you are really beautiful. I love your lovely bronze skin.

  • You are sooo pretty.

I wish I knew how to do my make up like yours. -.-

  • you mean about Maybelline, but girl that another issue for another comment. :) Thank you for this, it was very helpful :) But I had a question. What is that beautiful song! Thank you :)

  • The CVS around me has a lot of shades in our (dark) skin tone. But I know what t

  • thanks for this video now ima go buy it :)

  • Ur hair is beautiful!

  • which was the caramal and which was the coco?

  • This video help me a lot because i almost bought it at target but i wasn't sure . i don't think i will be any of the two darkest colors so that is a problem there and i can't afford to buy two . thank you

  • Have you tried Valana Minerals? I got a sample and LOVED it :)

  • i can never find foundation that is pale enough that isn't orange based

  • Love your hair! Is that permanent color or a rinse on it?

  • Love your vids but I sweat in my face . I always wished I could wear foundation and powder and all the rest but I'd look like i was melting if I did all that especially in the Summer , whew!! Fortunately I have good skin and don't need it to cover up. I love make up though and have recently found that tinted moisturizers do me well. Perhaps one day you can do a review on the new Nars line of TM's for our skin tones. You are so pretty. Be well.

  • I love your eye shadow make up in this video, please make a tutorial on it .

  • Hi there! I really really love your videos. I was wondering if you could offer me a little advice? I was recently diagnosed with Scleroderma and it has changed my skin ALOT. I have alot of lighting going on with my face. It's very patchy looking. I'm looking for a foundation that will last through my work day. By the middle of the day you can see all the patches and it gets really depressing for me to see myself. If you can please, please help! If not thanks in advance for trying.

  • @ayoungblood1 Hello, Have you tried using a stronger primer that will help your make up last longer? I sometime use Palmer's Fade Cream(Not to fade anything) as my base/primer before I put on my makeup and it last a pretty long time. Maybe you can try that out. Hope that help you. I know how it feels when your makeup starts fade away.

  • I use the Honey (I think that's the shade)...it's in my car ready to go back to Walgreens. LOL I really need full coverage because of my dark circles and sun spots on my cheeks. I think it's ok for someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup. I have since tried Sephora and I love it. I am happy with Sephora and I don't mind spending $62.00 for foundation, concealer and powder because it's worth it to me. Your hair is very pretty.

  • i have cocoa in the liquid foundation i found at big lots. i was excited until i got it home because it was TOO dark..hopefully they still have the caramel so i can mix..i know this is about the foam..but you gave me a great idea..you look gorgeous btw! love the hair! :)

  • Hello, great video. For a new user what type of affordable stiffling brush do you recommend?

  • Love u ebony

  • your hair is growing nicely...what do you use to keep it up?

  • you r so funny about the lip sweat one of my bestfriends has lip sweat all of the time its okay :)

  • I haven't tried this foundation yet but it seems everytime I find a color I like the company cancels it or changes it. So my color is close to a bronze but it depends whether it's winter or summer. As most of you can attest to you will always have to mix and match.

  • Your hair is beautiful, what color is that?

  • you are stunning! thank sfor this review because I hav ebeen thinking of trying this foundation. i may take a rain check because of the color mixing. im a get up and go girl! lol! lov eyou rhair by the way!

  • How did u figure out the 2 colors you needed to mix together?

  • Love your vids. Could you recommend a good eye cream. The skin around my eyes is so try . I just turned forty but when i wear eyeshadow my eyes look like I'm sixty-lol. Any suggestions, sis would be greatly appreciated thank you

  • The 'cocoa' looks orange :/

  • I have not tried this foundation but I used Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse in the past, and I had to buy both the caramel and cocoa to get the right color for my face just like you did here.

  • im a white girl but my aunty is from jamaca and she has to mix 4 different colours in this foundation to get her colour!! how unfair is that!!!

they should get more colours for dark skinned people!!

    love the review

  • Thanks for your honesty. I just saw a commercial for this and was going to check it out but....I have noticed the same issue with Maybelline's lack of brown shades in their makeup so I was a bit hesitant. Now I don't have to waste my time and money. Thank you!!!

  • This foundation is AWESOME if youre looking for a light coverage to moreso even out your skintone. Im really grateful you suggested the stippling brush, because it makes all the difference! Sorry it didnt work for you. =\

  • I brought the foundation last night and wore it today to work and got a lot of compliments on it. Love this product and thanks for the review.

  • I LOVE ur videos. U r so honest and give detailed descriptions. God bless on the pregnancy

  • I bought mine today! It's AMAZING!!!!

  • This is the kind of review I like!!!! You're not trying to sell me a product but giving me your HONEST view on what you think about it after using it! This is a review I can trust!!!

  • Ebony your hair is very pretty. What do you use to twist it out with?

  • Love it and you! Can you do a tutorial on your hair style? I am going natural and need hairstyles to wear in between wearing my wigs. Thanks so much.

  • Love that u r so detailed in your reviews

  • hey can you do a makeup removal vid? that would be soo helpful!!!

  • In Canada, they don't even carry cocoa or caramel at Shoppers Drug Mart which is the equivalent of Walgreens or CVS in the states. In fact I only see the darker shades in Revlon Photo ready and not any other brand. It's pretty sad and it just pisses me off. Either these companies truly believe all darker people come in one colour, or we don't have a need for makeup. Or they feel it wouldn't be profitable for them to cater to us by providing more colours after all we are the "minority". SMH!

  • you should try marykay new timewise foundations i love them and I think it has like 8 or 9 chocolate shades

  • they have light cocoa which is a little lighter than cocoa

  • Very pretty n I love yo hair

  • I love all your video's your so inspiring. God bless you x

  • did u stop doing pregnancy videos

  • i hate that so many makeup companies cater to such a narrow range of colors...like fair to medium. i'm indian so i'm pretty brown, and it sucks not be able to try out the foundations i want just because the companies don't make them dark enough!

  • what lipgloss or lipstick are you wearing

  • Thank god you mix them cause I was going to buy both of those colors and mix them and it looks my color I love your tutorials/reviews you also helped me with Mayebelline Fits Me! :D

  • i've had my eye on this foundation for a while, so thank you for the review. and that baby is really sittin on your lungs huh? i could hear how hard it was for you to breathe..

  • I have a question, is it better to put on foundation before you apply your eyeshadow or after?

  • if they mix these two colors, then they'd probably have your color. i don't know why they haven't did that yet. :/

  • congrats on the expectancy!!

  • I really like all the video you post on Youtube I am a beginner to makeup and the videos really help me on finding the right makeup out there I was wondering if you can do a video with the top foundations you like to wear like your go to foundations on a daily bases I know you did a video before but that was last year can you do one for this year Thanks and blessing with your birth

  • What lipstick are you wearing! It's beautiful!

  • Your videos are always helpful. Thx! Any foundation suggestions for oily skin! Im forever blotting all day!

  • I agree with this review...I took mine back!! Love the wig!! Where did you get it please?

  • @1DivineChocolate This is my hair in an old twist out....lol.

  • @colouredbeautiful it needs to be a wig bc it is GOR-GEOUS!!!!!! we all should have one. lol.

  • @colouredbeautiful ha gorgeous

  • @colouredbeautiful Oh my...I am sorry. I love it!! Your hair is beautiful.

  • You really can make any foundation work cant you? I on the other hand am foundationally challenged!!! So sad:o(

  • I really like the way your hair color looks with your new roots. Very Pretty.

  • Hi, if you ever get the chance can you do a video of your top (whatever # u choose) foundations? Thank you so much

  • Thanks Ebony, really wanted to try it but was a but uncertain since I am a dark skin WOC, and the brand shading is not very true for me. Overall your review help me a lot on that decision, again thanks.

  • Hey, how do you color your hair again? Im feeling that color. You said its temporary?

  • I love your tutorials.....thank you!!!!

  • What's on your lips? Me likey:-)

  • Great vid! Where did you get the Ruby kiss HD powder?

  • I love the beats during your videos!!

  • it looks orange

  • Is there any shimmers or glitters in it cuz i try the revlon and it had small glitter in it so i didnt like and try to find the maybelline but it wasnt here yet??!!

  • can you please do a review on makeup brushes that you use and what are good brands out there!! thanks :-D

  • Have you tried the Revlon PhotoReady foundation that also foams up like this??

  • Ebony, girl you wear "pregnant" well. You look stunning :) I wasn't a fan of this foundation @ first, but I do agree about it being good for everyday kind of wear.. & YES you most certainly need a primer.. thanks for this review :) oh & could we please get a tut for that fab look you were wearing!

  • Girl is this your hair this it looks fab and even if its not its still fab just as you are

  • Hi, Ebony. I rarely comment, but am such an avid student of your videos. I continue to learn so much from you! It looks like your skin tone is very close to mine. I was able to find this foundation in Light Cocoa and it was darn near perfect! Maybe that would be a better match for you and save you time(mixing colors) and money. That is, if you'd be willing to try it after already buying 2. Anyway, just thought you might like ti know. Be blessed!

  • Great video, you explain well:)

  • What do you have on your lips???? and eyes????

  • It looks great on you! I'm having a hard time finding the right color because my face is a diff color than my body and I have some acne. I use Hard Candy primer. Any suggestions??

  • I watched your other video and bought the caramel last night at ulta (with coupons lol). I really wanted more of a tint or natural look. You're so right about the color limits but this and a few of there lipsticks are my new favs. Thanks for sharing! and as always you look great!

  • Not gonna lie I watch some of your videos just to see your hair..Lol but nonetheless I Love your informative tutorials

  • Great Review. Love your hair.

  • Love the look what color do u have on your lips i love it

  • I luv the eyeshadow, do you have a tutorial on that look?

  • hair is gorgeous o myyy lol

  • Thank for your review. I have been eyeing this product for some time and now can proceed with caution. Your hair is fabulous!

  • Oh thank you for reviewing this. I was really curious about this stuff. I almost brought it last night in CVS.

  • what do you have on your lips

  • I agree, I would love to see a review on the brushes! I am so tempted to buy them!! love pixiwoo!

  • It looks like you end up wasting a lot of product trying to mix... or maybe it's the way it foams out... your thoughts on that?

  • @ceeads32 Yeah, you can't really control how much the foam expands. It's the formula. Once it melts down, its very liquidy and it doesn't seem so bad. Also the product is so light that you need more than the average 2 pumps from an normal foundation.

  • This is just my opinion, BUT you can't really see the hyperpigmentation on your chin. You look beautiful :) It really does kinda end up being how comfortable you feel, but I think you look gorgeous :)

  • That seems like a lot of makeup for that finish look

  • ur reviews r so through and helpful thx

  • Good review. Been using black opal or MUFE face and body but the transferral for both is ridiculous! Even with primer and MAC MSFnat for setting. Just bought airfoam in light cocoa (I hope it matches-refuse to mix-too much work on a daily basis!). Airfoam does feel VERY light (love that), keeps face matte most of the day-(oily in Tzone), and so far I haven't noticed transfer. I as well think its perfect for everyday wear.

  • I truly appreciate your honesty, thank you for saving my wallet and my time. Can you do a tut on your eyeshadow? Also, how much did you pay for the real techniques brushes?

  • Even though I'm a white Australian female, I find it just pathetic that a lot of makeup companies don't have all skin shades in their foundations. Like seriously? -___- it's 2012, they need to upgrade already.

  • HI HUNN,, WOULD RECOMEND THIS FOT EXTREMELY OIL SKIN ?

  • Hi Ebony! Have you tried elf's version of MAC Fix+ to stop transfer? A houseguest removed my goods without permission and I'm looking for a more cost effective fix for my Fix+

  • what foundation number are you in MAC if u do wear Mac? i bought cocoa and iam a nw 43 nw 45 in MAC

  • Nice Review, thanks for shareing

  • Beautiful! You're hair is growing so much!! It's just like mine in length : )

  • you are beautiful.

  • Based on your review, I would only get this to minimize transfer. It looks great on your skin...I'm not sure they cater to darker complexions such as mine. Hmmm...I have to think about this.

    ~Lo

  • love your videos! your hair is looking so good. could you please do a tutorial of how you do your twist-outs? just amazing!

  • 1. That color mix is too orange or red

    2. It seems like you are wasting it by pumping out more than you need. Is it possible for you to do another tutorial with less red and more of the light color one just to see please?

  • I have a slightly tanned complection and found when testing the products they did not have one to suit my skin. In Boots and Superdrug here in Scotland they did not even have coco and every other shade was to a paler ivory tone. Totally understand where your coming from! My mother is half cast and she likes to use the No7 Intelligent foundation in Medium. You may prefer the dark one because her skin is lighter than yours and it does not look like make-up at all! x :)

  • Good review , but there is also a ligh cocoa. your the cuttest pregnant!!

  • this foundation on you looks flawless!

  • I love your dedication to Beauty and educating others!! <3 Be Blessed

  • Was that the camera or does it have a orange tinge to it?

  • @Trecester They are a bit "orange-y"...but orange works with my skin tone. I probably should have mentioned that.

  • Hey Ebony, quick question...what's your best advice to prevent transfer of makeup. I LOVE the full coverage look but I HATE when I go to kiss or hug someone my makeup rubs off on their clothes or face...UGGHH!! What products would ya recommend!! P.S. ya look GAWGUSS!!

  • Good to know. Thanks for the review.

  • I luv your hair in this vid

  • Thanks for the review :) I love the eye look too :)

  • You look absolutely gorgeous and your hair is really growing a LOT! Are you still using the Kimmay tube conditioning technique? I'm going to try it this week so, I was just wondering.

Thanks for loading this review, I will definitely give the make up a try for light daytime coverage. :)

  • Congrats on the bundle of joy. Thanks for the review. Have you tried Loreal Paris True Match Super Blendable?

  • I get the lip sweats all the time I hate that.

  • Really loving your vids!! I have the same problems with drugstore foundations matching my skin. I'm nc35 but really yellow toned and most of them look way too pink. Closest match for me is w5 in loreal true match but even then a bit off! And omg every foundation I've tried seems to settle into my laugh lines and they are not even that bad I'm only 23!!

  • Love your honest review.....but I'm drawn to your eyeshadow....NICE....Review please ;-)

  • Thank you so much for the review! What do you recommend for a medium to full coverage foundation?

  • eye tutorial pls. ty

  • really liking how you've been doing your eyebrows

  • a lot of girls are saying the color gets darker on them during the day

  • I am not a fan of mixing. I may as well spend the extra money and get my MAC foundation for all that. Yet another reason, I don't buy drugstore foundations. Covergirl trueblend is about the best one when it comes to ranges in skin colors which is why It is the ONLY drugstore brand I have purchased more than once.

  • Thanks for the review, was curious about this foundation. What foundation would you recommend for dry skin, with hyperpigmentation and laugh lines?

  • Is this a twist out? Your hair looks so pretty

  • I love this eye look on you :)

  • Wow! Good review. The first thing I noticed was your hair. It looks great and healthy. Can you please do a review on the products you use and your technique?

  • I use to use Maybeline matte mouse ages ago but the last time I used it, it wasn't that great so I haven't been back to their line of foundations

  • <3 I really like this foundation! I will be doing a review as well. I want revlon to come out with my color. Can u wear rich ginger in Revlon? Probably not... love to know what you think.

  • @destinygodley Hey D! Yeah, this foundation is cool for a natural coverage...no issue there. With Revlon Colorstay I use Caramel, but I still have to add a little heat to it to give me the tone I need. I could imagine how this foundation will work well with your flawless skin...can't wait to see your review.

  • Where did you get the ruby kisses setting powder? Your beauty supply....i stl have a prob finding a good one

  • @colouredbeautiful, i have similar issues as you (hyperpigmentation, laugh lines) what foundation & primers would you recommend?? at the moment i use MAC fix fluid, i hate that it transfers :-( .....lov your videos keep dem coming !

  • I really feel like your my girlfriend in my head someone I can hang with while shopping your so Keep the vids coming and stay beautiful

  • ty, im wondering is it me or is it metallic looking when you apply it? and more toward the reddish spectrum

  • So as for color ranges of ethnic skin, low end,do you prefer iman, black opal, or something else to get the best bang for your buck?

  • can you post a video on tips for lighten skin esp the neck? My face and chest are the same color, but my neck is darker. Hard when applying makeup....I see that you don't have the problem but any tips would help.

  • I love this foundation....I was surprised to see they added a "light coco" to their line...it's goes between caramel and dark coco.

  • can you do a review on Samathia Chapman brushes?

  • @angelwithxtraa I have a review on them...it's called Real Techniques Brushes by pixiwoo. Check it out! I'll be doing a follow up review soon because I purchased the starter kit as well.

  • You are glowing :-) I might try this foundation it's just seems when it's pumped out it look like it's too much but I see you worked it out.. I love you hair too it looks like we have the same natural hair texture I can't wait till mines gets that length:-)

  • I don't wear foundation but had to watch because I'm digging your eye makeup. Beautiful as usual.

  • you look amazing! I'm loving your hair!

  • Comment removed

  • I purchased this item as well and I have to say that I agree with all of your points about this foundation. I purchased it from Rite Aid and so I was able to return it without a hassle. Great detailed review!

  • You are so beautiful...Thanx for doing this review, I love how honest you are, I appreciate that.. =)

  • I have this foundation too and agree with everything u said! =D I have it on now in fact. I am now on the hunt for a good brush to apply it with for next time. =)

  • is that a twist out in your hair?

  • @Isis4love Yes....an old twist out.

  • @colouredbeautiful I see your twist out on your hair when it was shorter. do you have a tutorial for it at this longer lenght? on dried hair?

  • Thank you for your imput. Lovely as always.

  • LOL AT WE ONLY COME IN TWO COLORS!.....LUV THAT....YEAH RIGHT~ I LIKE IT BUT I WOULDN'T BUY IT BECAUSE I GUESS WITH MY SKIN TONE I WOULD HAVE TO BUY LIKE 3-4 DIFFERENT SHADES TO GET MINE RIGHT???....DON'T WANT TO BE TO LIGHT OR TOO DARK EITHER???

  • Can you show how you get your hair like that it's so cute

  • Take it back to the store. Not worth the money. Not enough colors for Ladies of Color and if you have to take the time to mix two colors and the extra work. Thanks for the review. I like Dept Store Make up, if you don't like it take it back with no problems, more colors and brands for Ladies of Color and in your price range. It's worth it just to go to your local the mall.

  • Love your reviews and tutorials. Are you going to do one on the Revlon foam mousse foundation? Would love to see that one also.

  • just wondering have u done tut on the eye look if so whats the name
