I don't dislike Kerik but if this scandal has the potential of destroying Guiliani's bid for presidency then I hope that it does. Guiliani would not be good for this country as it's leader. Amazing how even FOX jumped on Giuliani's lack of good judgment here. They are talking about the questionable Kerik being suggested for Homeland Security, which Giuliani now admits was a mistake. But, we could just as easily be talking about Giuliani's lack of good judgment in putting NYC's emergency headquaters in the WTC complex after he was warned that was unwise since the WTC had proven a tempting target for terrorism.

It does seem that the democrats have stronger potential candidates. But, nothing is assured. Now is the time to really try and win over the voters who are "undecided" (that is, neither strongly republican nor democrat voters). What they'll see in the coming weeks and months is really going to shape how this election is going to be.
