but we arent that stupid, raise the forks, if you bump that side, you aint gonna fit, go over the obsical, not fit through too tight of spots, your forks DO go up

someone did that at my work, they'de be gone, weather or not its an accident, bc you gotta know what your doing at all times while one thoes

  • LMAO you can see him running like hell from a shockwave at 0:13 lol

  • that's just being smart. other people seem to be in denial in a situation like this :-/

perhaps it's because he's alone and has noone to feel embaressed in front of. well that didn't work out considering this is on youtube, but at least he's not hurt.

  • "Fuck this shit I quit."

  • They should make shelves crumble in L4D too!

  • I'll take out that aisle in no time.

  • holy shit that guy just lost a job

  • jajajajajaja pobre ese mancito ese susto tan malparido

    "aww shit im so fired"

  • pheeeeeeew good thing he didnt fuck anything up *grin

  • you know that dude got fired :(

  • WHy didnt he stay in the cabin of his forklift-.-

He almost killed himself by jumping out,, you're safe inside it not out

  • what comes up must come down

  • What GOES up

  • FIRED!

  • lucky

  • the man die?

  • 0:10 dude gets out of the moving forklift just in time and runs away from the scene. i thought he stayed in the vehicle the first time i watched it.

  • He should have stayed in the vehicle. He's risking a more serious injury jumping out. The forklift has a safety cage overhead, jumping out, you've got only your head to stop falling debris.

He's either unlicensed /untrained, which is a serious OSHA issue, suicidal or just plain stupid.

  • yeah, or he was simply reacting (impulsively) to a life threatening situation.

How many people, on fire, run around when everyone knows "stop, drop and roll"?

  • That's why we have federal regulations requiring training and licensing to operate these machines. I operate similar forklifts on a daily basis and I have been trained to stay on, one exception is if a truck pulls out while driving on with a floor jack (has happened to me), then you jump off if possible.

I do believe this did not happen in the US, however.

  • I've seen forklifts with seat belts, but I've never once seen an operator wearing a seatbelt.

I don't know if the course instructs you about using restraints.

What made you say that this is probably not in the US?

  • I got a reply from someone in Australia that claimed to be the operator. Seemed legitimate and I had no reason to doubt him.

The course of instruction in the US is to wear the restraints, in the vast majority of incidents the best bet is to remain on especially in a tipover.

If you look close you'll see he slipped and recovered, if he had not gotten up after his fall he would have probably been crushed by the debris. He also could have been run over by another machine.

  • lol those shelfs were never stable to begin with if thats all it took to knock it down regardless of how much weight is at the bottom, funny stuff though, how do you explain that to your boss.

  • Holy crap epic fail

  • looks like my apartment.

  • epic fail!!!!

  • lol..... have a good day :)

  • reminds me of the avalanche in idiocracy

  • OMFG :DDDDDD

  • oh shit!!

  • FAIL lmfao
