Digititzing in ArcMap

hey how about a tutorial about auto vectorization? so no need for digitizing, just cleaning the output :D

HI, I have encountered a problem while digitising streets that I have never seen before. Basically whenever I use ''MERGE'' tool to join two polylines it changes the shape of the features and sometimes they magically disappear from the screen altogether.

Any thoughts what the problem might be? Thanks in advance...

digitizing is easy, however it takes lots of time! i am now doing CSULB, it took me like5 hours to do the buildings, and land area , i know only need the roads
