nothing wrong with having a shop do the work and if you have the cash, some people just don't have the time to work on the car. although its always more fun and you learn a lot more when you build you own. a car enthusiast is a car enthusiast.
Thanks...... That motor is gone. We built and replaced it with an LSX 440 with 13:1 Compression....If all goes well, it will fire up on Saturday.....STAY TUNED FOR THE VIDS!
I'm the guy that picked up the top-end combo. Looking forward to getting everything dialed in and tuned when I get back from this deployment. Thanks. ;)
Hey whats up man? You will enjoy that stuff. We had great results with that combo. We're going with different heads; Looking for 550 RWHP. Thanks for your service!
Your caddy will get that ass destroyed. I have a c6 callaway exhaust, heads, cam, lowered, ect and from the sound of this monster bring it. your caddy will be eaten alive. CORVETTES RUN THE SHOW !
okay i have a 2007 c6 with only a vararam intake. what should be the first mod i do to my car? should i add headers first? or go with the exhaust first then headers? i really would love to ask more questions. i live in texas also and pretty close to dallas
Headers are your next best choice. Pretty much any cat-back muffler system you can go with will run you upwards of a grand and net you almost no gains. Most header systems are around 1200-1800 and will get you upwards of 20-30 hp with a good tune.
nice ride my man and the fact that you helped with the building and actually worked on says alot of good about you as a car guy nice build. two thumbs way up
your welcome, i just hate it when people have nice cars but they did absolutling nothing to help build it, i mean is it really worth havin if you didnt put the hard work into it, once you do the work and you finish your car it means alot more too you
I agree to an extent. I do feel more satisfied if I do the work myself.
On the other hand, I can't stand those with the attitude that you shouldn't own a nice car unless you do the work yourself. At car shows, I always overhear the self-proclaimed car expert making snarky comments towards anyone who bought it rather than built it.
If a guy wants a nice car and has the money to pay to get it done right, I'll respect him and his ride.
i mean if its a newer car like a 09 challenger and 10 camaro or corvette or something i yea can see why you dont do it yourself from a technology stand point..but if you have like a 69 chevelle it feels so much better doing it yourself..i know it gets stressful because it is a very long process but a process well worth the wait..the juice is deffently worth the squeeze when restoring an american muscle car or hot rod.
It's an inside joke between myself, B&P Performance, and Chuck Cow from Corvettes of West Chester, NY...This car was purpose built to race one of Cow's customer's C6 Vette
your insurance company isn't going to like what they see here. Better pixelate your license plates!!!

how much does it cost to get an ls2 forged?
MeldaTopic 3 years ago
Depending on what goes in it...Alot. I paid about $3000 in parts and helped with the labor, since my buddy owns B&P Performance.
