My receiver can only take video via hdmi ( not audio). So i need to connect my blu ray player with an optical cable... Do i connect the optical cable from my blu ray player to my receiver or to my Tv ? =)
if your receiver has coxial digital connection usually colored coded orange use that but if it's optical use a black cable! if u want full sound through your DVD hook up your BD player thur your reciever
HDMI is replacement for AV Cables that we used to have in VCR or DVD Player( red, yellow, white). HDMI carries both audio and video in high defination in single cable. To get the full high defination advantage should use HDMI Cable.
sux. it's been working for months but NOW youtube won't allow me to sign in ever since they did their google/youtube cross-pollunation garbage. keeps telling me i'm entering the wrong password... so i changed the password, rebooted everything and still nothing. :(
i love watching my favorites on my lg -- but kind of scratching my head in how to solve this issue now. any suggestions?
I think it's great however I can't get my YouTube to work.
I set my IP to 192.168.1.64 (which is what my router gives it.) The sub mask to 255.255.255.0 The gate to 192.168.1.254 (router IP) and DNS Server to 194.74.65.69 (the primary dns is for the router)
The internet connects but I cant' get the youtube channel to work?
What does the HDMI cable do and can you use wifi rather then a broadband connection?

@MrBogboi hdmi is the only thing that you plug in to get picture and sound to your tv.
if you have an old tv set then you must use red yellow and white.
