I have a samsung convection microwave oven. How long should i preheat & cook and at what degrees?

sunflower -yes
Micro wave oven no. Leave the biryani in the pot. Put the pot on low heat for 25 to 30 minutes. Check the rice after that.

that indian dried spice is "kasuri methi" not "kasturi methi".... BTW nice recipe :)

Looks like halibut steaks. I bet you could make it with salmon steaks.

@optimist1012008 - yes halibut. Any fish steak would do. Usually small fish will not work - so avoid pomfrete etc.
