  • I was looking through the videos & i liked your simple recipe. Can i use sunflower oil instead.

    I have a samsung convection microwave oven. How long should i preheat & cook and at what degrees?

    sunflower -yes

    Micro wave oven no. Leave the biryani in the pot. Put the pot on low heat for 25 to 30 minutes. Check the rice after that.

  • that indian dried spice is "kasuri methi" not "kasturi methi".... BTW nice recipe :)

    Looks like halibut steaks. I bet you could make it with salmon steaks.

  • @optimist1012008 - yes halibut. Any fish steak would do. Usually small fish will not work - so avoid pomfrete etc.
