Star Trek (TNG) Attached Picard and Crusher sences 3

I saw this episode in full for the first time just the other day. God damn, some fine acting. Even simple moments like from 5:01 to 5:06 - the look Picard gives... the realisation (at that point) he may not see Crusher again. The look of strain in Crusher from 7:52 onwards. And the poignant ending with the candles.

Powerful stuff. Mighty fine acting.

Great scene - I remember watching it on TV and thinking "Finally!" ;-). Also really well acted by both of them. A shame they didn't get together in the series.

@AsiF5566 Search "Attached (1 of 5)", and you'll find the whole episode, though I would RECOMMEND deepspace9lover if you want the main story (between Picard and Crusher) alone, without the politics between Riker and the Kess-Pritt officials (which is actually what I was looking for...sorry deepspace9lover!).

Thank you for posting, these scenes are after all one of the many reasons why we watch Star Trek. But boy oh boy, I could kill the writers! How could they do this to us! Beverly and Jean-Luc belong together! Uhhh, it's so frustrating. Their always together, even in the movies. P&C for ever! hehe.

The writer for this episode was brilliant. She played it off so fricken well. "What do you mean?" and picard is like "What do you mean what do I mean???? HELLO???!! Beverly!!!?? Jump my bones!!!! DOctor!!!

The music in this episode is especially moving. From about 7:30 to the end, most particularly after Dr Crusher says "Goodnight", the music is quite emotive. I'd wager it ranks right up there with "The Inner light" and "Lessons" in terms of music, when the story could take a momentary back seat to the power of the music in it. Dennis McCarthy and Jay Chattaway should be commended.

i agree! This is when they should have put them together instead of keeping the Beverly and Picard shippers in suspence and waiting and waiting and waiting until the last show of the episode when we learned that they'd been married...until they went back and changed the timeline again. lol
