  • I see lots of people with good ideas, and without the maturity and patience to execute them. You're not going to win with a violent revolt like in Libya, NATO isn't going to be on your side. You need to swing many, many, people to your viewpoint and right now you're failing to do that because you're looking only at the end goal and not doing your due diligence.

  • @cainb I agree that people aren't going to win with violence. I don't know what made you throw that in there, but I agree.

  • @Relyt22 Just trying to emphasize patience. I've heard people among you speak of a violent revolution being potentially necessary and I think that's silly. You're right though, it was kind of off-topic, just me preaching.

  • @cainb I have heard people talking that way too, and I think the peaceful protest greatly outweighs them. They'd find themselves as quite the minority in LA if they were to start anything violent. It's sad that they probably don't realize that they're what police are going to use as an excuse to evict the protesters.

  • @Relyt22 I agree that you guys are mostly peaceful, but you're only as good as the worst among you. As soon as someone does something violent in your name, you're done.

Keep up the good work though, I know most of you are fighting the good fight. Just make sure to continue to condemn violent revolution.

  • I applaud this guy for going out and having a dialogue. He's protesting your protest and you don't see the irony in telling him to fuck off. You guys should be encouraging every single person in America to have a dialogue with you. But instead, your ridicule and your elitism turn people off. It turns me off.

  • @cainb I'm not telling him to fuck off. In fact, I even said to him myself that I think having these kinds of debates is very healthy. I see it as a training exercise for people to express their views so that they can further their cause.

  • @Relyt22 I agree with your point on debating. I just think labeling him as a heckler is unfair. It's clear that he's not there to heckle you, but people put him on the defensive by ganging up and shouting at him.

  • @cainb People were debating with him for quite some time before I started recording. He just kept upping his voice and calling people names. Some others joined in and started calling him names as well. It's hard to have a decent conversation when people just throw insults back and forth. I like how the bearded man handled it, though.

  • I watched the whole thing.

This guy isn't heckling, he's presenting an opposing viewpoint. If he's heckling, then so are the Occupiers shouting back at him. This is one of the main problems I see with the Occupy movement: you don't seem to understand that are lots of people who support your ideals, but not your technique.

  • Its always about the money!!!

  • Makes personal attacks at the protester for being "old", then pouts about someone making a personal attack.

I hope that douchebag was drunk or high and doesn't always act that mental.

  • You Liberals are so fucking backwards.

  • These right wing buttfuck clowns are clueless, they defend the corporate criminals and traitors against the 99%

  • @NotSoOldHippy He didn't actually seem to be defending them at all, but rather agreeing for the most part. I think his problem was mainly that he believed all the rhetoric that he heard from the media about the protesters.

  • that's a whole lot of cryin' going on.
