  • Love the 120fps! I shot some bike jumps with My new Hero2 (HumbleOutdoors $270 w/free SD Card) at 120fps. Very cool feature.

  • Where is the 120fps setting on a Hero 2?. I only see 60fps in 720p mode. And from the shadow outline in the bottom right of the frame it looks like you used a single camera and filmed one explosion. So how did you change the setting and duplicate the same exact explosion if you shot the 120fps clip all in camera? Or did you really just mean that you shot ONE explosion at 60fps and then slowed it down to 120fps with software? Please clarify. Thanks.

  • @MisterAlf1 sorry man dunno it was my mates go pro .

  • @mikevaneck1 No worries mate! Thanks - and I DID find the setting for 120fps in WVGA mode after Facebooking the GoPro page.

  • @MisterAlf1 fps doesn't have to do with the speed of the clip. You can play a clip in real-time with any frame speed. All the fps does is make any slow motion done in an editing software smoother. So the two clips were the same. Hope this helps.

  • @MrSamemoon Thanks! Found the 120fps setting in WVGA mode after posting on the GoPro Facebook page. Coming from the world of "large" video cameras, I was assuming the GoPro frame rate setting worked the same way. Still got a lot to learn on these little guys but am AMAZED by the image quality of these little things!

  • @MisterAlf1 bro, the 120 fps is under the WVGA mode which is the lowest quality mode

  • @MisterAlf1 The 120fps mode is in WVGA 120 (super slow motion) or WVGA 60fps (slow motion) 170 ultra wide angle. It does say in the settings menu on the camera when you change resolution. hope it helps

  • @MisterAlf1 Under the video mode settings - there is a WVGA 120fps option. I didn't know it existed either until today haha

  • @MisterAlf1 You can setting it with WVGA(848×480), and you can choose 30fps 60fps 120fps in there.

  • Theres that epic middle peice just coming at u

  • @iBMXmyFit yeah looks sweet as hey !!

  • cool vid!

  • you'll love Twixtor - can do 1000fps!

  • @loadedmultimedia

How can it become 1000 if the recording is 120fps?

  • @toshiroo Twixtor 'interpolates' the frame rate

  • @loadedmultimedia can you have twixtor for FCP X??

    please answer! :)

  • @loadedmultimedia sweet !!

  • aaaaaw fFCK flying pasta!

  • nice, but use twixtor!

  • @iGoProVideo cheers, whats twixtor ?

  • @mikevaneck1 you can go a lot slower with this... more than 2000 fps

  • @mikevaneck1 twixtor is a slow-mo plugin for after effects or sony vegas. just google it

  • @ScizzoHD ok cool cheers

  • @mikevaneck1 It's expensive tho.... not worth it, unless you "slow-mo" a lot

  • @mikevaneck1 You can use twixtor.. it's an advance slow-mo smart plug.... but don't be like the other idiots out there that abuses it by over cranking it up to 1 million frames per second.... it's utter rubbish... :)

  • @mikevaneck1 yeah and it cost like 350 bucks

  • @ScizzoHD is it free?

  • @iGoProVideo no. don't use twixtor. it's extremely played and looks incredibly fake.

  • @iGoProVideo fuck twixtor.

  • ok thanks

  • is there a slow mo button on the hero 2?

  • @thehoogsta oh there is a setting to make it shoot at 120 frames per second and then you can slow it down in your computer program.

  • F@#k cookie jars, I hate them too.

  • @conkyone yep toilet roll holder ; )

  • nice, look like 3d :D

  • Wow! So need to get a Hero2.
