I watched some of this on my PBS station and it made me angry that the coal people are taking away your water. I wish there were something I could do for you. Perhaps if the west adopts sunlight technology, there will be no more need for coal being shipped to California.
Kia ora - same thing a lot of fourth world people go through; colonisation, loss, rediscovery which reconnects us and gives us self esteem and a sense of belonging. Indigenous people didn't cause our own woes but only we can heal them, and it's through a journey home that it happens.
flameboy, I would welcome you to the Navajo land and learn more about the people you have generalized, perhaps you will have a much more informed opinion.

I don't like most Navajos because they are hypocrites. They blame the white man for everything, Im white and didnt do anything to them and they still bitchin bout their land. 90% of navajos are unemployed and just mooching off the white man. them blaming white people is racist cuz nowadays we aint doin anything but keeping their asses alive with OUR tax money. their culture is dying too
Flameboy- while I respect your opinion, you must acknowledge that these people have been taken advantage for a very long time. That means that there is some shit that goes real deep down. They're just trying to preserve their ways, just as the any culture has that right. And yes it's our tax money but it's because generations above us set us up pretty damn good (at least in relation to what the generations above us did to them). I've seen this documentary, and it's def worth watching.
What a load. I live on the reservation. And while some of the ones that have assimilated have become great people, many, including the ones who still live on the res, only come to town to collect their checks on the first of the month.
buy their rugs and "listen" to what they have to say. they speak truth

appears to be an insightful, thought-provoking and provocative documentary that challenges the status-quo--long overdue

@Alstomus You can tell more about a man from what he says about others, than from what others say about him.
