yes you can play with the seat down. just choose a woofer with a shallow mounting shoulder. kicker cvt, pioneer thin , alpine. those are all great subs. try to stick with a dual 10" because of airspace reasons, thanks

we design all enclosures with the function of the truck in mind first. this specific truck you will need a grille for the subs if you have a medium to high excursion woofer. if you cant put the seats down then you may as well not have them under there you know.

@jdblya they can be put down. I have an 04 2500 and this guy built me a few boxes for my various setups.
