I noticed a lot of the comments of here talking about the 1.4 in the Cruze. Car manufacturers who sell cars in the U.S. are being forced to build more fuel efficient cars and up until now, American car manufacturers have been building larger engines when compared to the foreign competitors. The larger engine have also been known for not being fuel efficient. In order to meet CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) regulations they are having to change their philosophy so to speak.
@Jharp82 I think ford and GM are doing great things with fuel efficiency and it is putting both of them bac in the game. in 2013 f550 f450 and 350 will have hybrid versions.
biggest mistake that chevy did, They equiped the car with engine that honda stoped in mid 90s. We all wish it had a V6 engine, because modding a 1.4L engine with turbos and intakes is toooo childish.
@tashtan1 When was the last time a car in this segment had a V6? The last year the cavalier had one was 1994. Also Honda had nothing like this in the 90s. A 1.4l turbo from the 90s would have probably had less than 100hp.
@lschmidt814 that car just looks big enough for a v6 not neccasarly a 3.6L as simple 2.7 or 2.8 with 200 190 horsepower would do. but you have to admit 1.4 is too small for that car. I admit its enough to pull the car but not powerful enough to have fun with the car!!!

The only thing I like about this car is the painted engine cover. Other than that they took a Cruze and "pimped" it out, lowering the resale value exponentially. I bet if you look at the most inner part of the tire tread it's bald from rubbing the wheel wells.

I was in this car in China during my trip this summer, always hated Americans car but i must say WOW! The engine is so quite you can barely hear it, and the blue glow from the instruments are so calming. Everything is standard in the car in China leather seats, GPS, and everything else you got to pay extra for here.. Wonder how it would be like once it arrives in North America.
