@ibmoosed Thanks man :o) It's just a 1/4" Plastic cutting board about 9"x5" Two holes drilled for the rope and one hole drilled for the trekking pole :o)

in scuba diving we use surgical tubing for all types of mods requiring tensioning ,etc.....im thinking your right about the paracord.......but i have a slight design change...i dont always use treking poles...so ..ill try may be thursday....thanx for the ideas...stay warm ..

Very good idea, how does the cutting board hold up to the heat from the stove?

@MBlackford100 Not a problem in sub zero...hehe! It would depend on the stove I'm sure. Something that gets real hot on the bottom such as my BB 2.0 might melt a little in to it, in summer. Could work around that by putting some carbon felt under the stove body :o) Anything else would be much heavier. We need someone like Smokeeater to make some Titanium tables :o)

Your stuff always looks so good in the cold (really cold)! I like how you have the table resting on your trekking pole basket - makes it very stable, good idea! I think you're going to like the thinner tubing that will come with your Mini Heat, may not be as stiff in your cold weather. Stay warm buddy - always great seeing you out!

Yahoo! A new stove is always lots of fun to play with. What is the size of the diameter? My guess is the burn time was in the uppers of 10 minutes for 2 cups? =p PS I really do not like this new YouTube layout.

@phr1sk37 Yahoo...hehe ;o) The pot is tapered being wider at the top. It's the same size as the opening of a Foster or Heine pot :o) Burn time is howhever much fuel is in your bottle :o) Boil time I showed at the end...hehe! It was 12:30 there abouts :o) Not bad in that cold. I could still see the air current pushing the flame around some times too. I hat the new layout as well. I'm gonna' freak if we are forced to that new channel design. It bites big time...haha!

It's a stove I made last winter when Bill sent me those Dubro fuel fittings and silicone line :o) I wanted to use my thin backpacking board but it bends too easy. This is smaller than some may like but the bigger the heavier rite :o) Titanium sheet would be the perfect solution :o) Thanks a bunch for the tip on that container as well Jim :o)

@TheSonofthunder7 I found they still work pretty good in -15C depending on the stove. If it's colder it always helps to keep the stove and fuel bottle in your coat somewhere if possible
