I don't care if NetSol is (somewhat) more expensive....it's worth it not to support that douche that runs Go Daddy. Any woman that would subject herself to their sexist commercials (I'm looking at you Danica Patrick) looses any credibility I might have had for them. I love this parody...right on, Cloris!!!

GoDaddy abuses people who are clueless about HTML/PHP/CSS and they sell them all kinds of stupid things they'll never need. Network Solutions has no idea what an aspx file is and that it cannot be parsed on a linux server (there was something that could parse aspx but not 100% compatible so no wide usage). GoDaddy's hosting environment does not allow for backups. NS doesn't either. If you lose your email, it's gone. IMAP backup anyone? Test for yourself. Then drop both.

GoDaddy nickles and dimes you over everything including IMAP access to your already separately paid for email accounts. Network Solutions will try to upsell you on a security suite for $16/mo when you call to complain that your website has been hacked and you don't have anything other than HTML files on there. GoDaddy support has no idea what a TTL is, NS supervisors cannot decide on anything, they can just repeat what the tech support rep said. Test for yourself. Then drop both.

Network Solutions and Go Daddy suck. Their servers are slow, support reps are clueless, no real security. NS does not log FTP traffic, GoDaddy has the crappies most confusing control panel ever made. NS allows user write access to apache's access log, Go Daddy has at least a 1 second delay until apache answers to your request. NS servers time out an average of 20 times in a 12 hour period, Go Daddy times out an average of 16 times in 12 hours (serverdensity). Test for yourself. Then drop both.

Sorry to be the grouch who stole fun here, but this commercial is just plain sleazy. It is discouraging to see how far down the ladder business have crawled just to get what they're after. I for one am just plain sick of the amount of sleaze used to promote the services I need. This society is getting sleazier every day. Dignity gets my vote & my dollar. Great humor CAN be done WITHOUT sleaze! What Cloris does with her talent just to keep career/money coming in is disturbing. Sorry, just sayin'

ive had nothing but problems with godaddy, after doin some research i found out they outsource all their hosting. My site was down black friday and it needed to be up, i called godaddy and they couldnt get me in touch with the third party company that was in control of the server. really?? switched to netsol, cant beat their hosting or their customer service. made the switch and haven't looked back. godaddy uses sex to sell a bad product but consumers only see boobs sadly.

I used to register domains through NetSol over 10 years ago, but they were too expensive (35.00/yr), then I found out about GoDaddy at about $9.00 per domain . . . I moved right-away.

Competition is good for the consumer (that's why AT&T is buying-out T-Mobile). I hope AT&T goes down with their heavy prices too.

commercial is hilarious. The unfortunate reality is your shared hosting packages ARE "go granny". Constantly timing out, horrible customer service, outrageous prices, so unreliable. See ya network solutions.

@mourlamstudios If you're using a domain registrar to host your websites you're a ****ing retard. You want nightmares? Try using GoDaddy's shared hosting for anything except a static HTML site. I'm seriously considering paying Network Solutions a premium just so I don't have to visit GoDaddy's POS site anymore... literally the worst site ever made. You can tell Bob has his finger up everyone's *** over at GoDaddy giving input cuz it looks like it came from the mind of someone stuck in 1992.

@whitebeltmonkey the site does not look like 1992, you are overstating... however, you are very very on target about the site being a whole lotta mess. I've been with them since 2006 and I still cant navigate by memory. its got too much IN YOUR FACE instant confusion. Once you are logged in at their site, they ought to focus primarily on showing you the stuff you own, rather than a thousand other things that you can buy..... I'm sick of their sales pages, too, but I only know godaddian ;[
