Cool rig man! Looks a lot like my old rig except I had a soft top. unfortunately I slid off the road 2 winters ago hit a tree and bent the frame something awful. Now I have an 03 tj but I still miss my old yj.

spinning your tires isnt giving you anymore grip...in fact its giving you alot less. if the jeep cant go up the hill without spinning its tires...its wont. physics 101. you could tho...make a big enough run before...than its a different story.

you are trying too hard...you need to let the jeep do the work. getting a running start doesnt usually work. put it in 4 lo and let it pretty much idle up the hill.
@joesyj air down your tires to increase traction. you brag about your swampers in the title? thats what they are. swampers. for swamps. and you cant get up a et hill with an inch of mud... let some air out of your tires. put the driveshaft into 4l (4 wheel drive, low output), dont exceed 40km/h or you'll stress your engine in 4l, then crawl it. with low air in swampers it really shouldnt be an issue. its a jeep. learn the limits. i'll give you a hint, (there are none).
