i can be hooked op to a computer, and the accessory is just a serial cable which is awfully expensive. So I decided to make my own and it worked beautifully.

Just got this telescope in today! Pretty excited to use it. Now, i wanted to know about this computer software that allows you to connect to a laptop and control the telescope. I know you need an extension because the damn telescope does not have a USB. Have you heard anything about the way the telescope works with the computer?

Looks like I was viewer 5,000. Hehe. Very cool video of a very pretty woman operating a very nice telescope. The motors on this model do not sound very loud though it is hard to tell without any other reference sounds. Perhaps you should have said something with the motors running so as to give an idea how loud it is. All in all, nice video. More of the presenter would be welcome! ;o)

@Destin65 The motors are not very loud actually, and this video is just to admire the ability not to rotate the telescope on my own =))

does it come with something in the package so you can take a tour of the sky? and can you hook up your computer to this telescope for veiwing

@thegeckoproduction Yes it comes with two eyepleces and star pointer so it's ready to get views of the Moon and planets or star clusters

And no, it can't be hooked up with the PC but it has his own computer system to help you find the sky object

@Sssolovei The NexStar 130SLT can be hooked up to a computer with the optional cable. You should of received the NSOL telescope control software with your telescope.
