you tink a 4 inch lift would clear for 35's? I got a 93 2500 and im debating between 6 n 4, i know 6 would clear but I would perfer 4 what do you suguest ?

@TheHevyChevy It would depend on a few things, the size of rim, off set, width of tire, and brand as well. If you have a very aggressive wide tire with a wide offset, chances are your gong to have to do some trimming

The rims size matters because the smaller the rim, the more sidewall and tire roll allowance when cornering...

@ShootKillReload Yes, the cherry bomb vortex, 2.5 single in single out, later changed to hi-flow catalytic converter and removed the muffler, but this was a very good non-raspy deep sound

@aeropostalbaby1 depends on the width of the tires. these were 35x13.5R16 and had tons of power.... i personnaly think in order to run 4:88 gears you have to be running 38x13.50 or bigger, but thats just me.

@cntryson47 This truck doesnt have Glasspacks, its has Cherry bomb mufflers. Their Hollow like a flowmaster, but have a toned straightpipe sound, and it really only pops and crackles when she's really cold.

@XxNUGGETxX34 well, 40 inch tires on 5 inches of lift wont allow you to turn very well. I have 5 inches of lift here and 35's and it rubs the frame when you crank the wheel... The rest sounds good. It's gunna be a sweet lookin truck man, post some vids of it.

@BattyBitz LOL thanks man, I got the emblem for a 2007 silverado while it was parked at the dealership lol

and the paint job was like $50. I just bought the paint and used my drywall mud hopper. 2 paint coats and then 3 clear coats from spray can. This paint has now lasted 3 CANADIAN winters and is rust free still! not bad i guess lol

@BattyBitz lol i did a dry and wet sand, with a quick 2000 grit before painting. i used a mud hopper, no drywall mud was actually in there though lol. mine has like 4 different nozzle settings on it, so it was really nice. the color was a dark chevy blue before the paint, so i think it worked out all right lol. @4x4onthefloor sounds good man. i have a 97 reg cab short bed like this but all the flowmasters ive had just sound like a gigantic exhaust leak and the only reason i can think of why it would sound like that is because i have the cats deleted. every flowmaster i hear on vehicles with cats sound great. i dont know what the cherry bomb extreme would sound like but i think ima go back with straights with headers and no cats.

@97chevyZ71350 In my opinion that would be really crackly and pop a lot, im sure you know since you said your going back to it, if you up for a suggestion, try putting "Magnapacks" on. They are similar to glasspacks, but much better design and have a better flow of sound in my opinion... just my $.02

@acdclover66 Tires were 300 a piece, rims were about 125 each. Keep in mind I live in Canada so there is a high mark up on them lol
