ha....has it been doing it since you got it?...if so that sound your hearing is your turbos blow off pressure release...if its a new sound take it to a mechanic soon!!

when the engine starts, its sounds like it is cold - he shoudln't do that...

i did it today :d i installed my k&n typhoon sounds just like yours i can actually hear the air released by the cbv thru the intake sweet :d

You should take that fabric out from under the hood. The only purpose for it is to reduce noise. I did this to my dad's 9-3 turbo with intake and it made it sound 2x better

Hey, Did You Have A After market Front Bumper, Or Did You Just Change The Grill??? And What Did You Install? A Blowoff Valve, Air Intake,A New Turbo, Or All Three? It Sounds Like A Blowoff Valve And Cold Air Intake. And It Also Sounds Really Good

This is not necesary in the Volvo Turbo. You can get your engine to the max for hours and just stop. The engine have a EPS chip (Enginer Prot System). This system cool the oil and engine for you
