  • @Blahblobify They are Police officers.

If you are a Criminal, who the fuck are You to refuse?

  • Comment removed

  • @Blahblobify Gimmie some examples of "nothing".

Understand- many who are justifiably investigated and arrested, hate the police just because they get caught, not because they are unfairly "bullied"...

  • @Blahblobify So what you're saying is, you are clean of drugs/booze/illegal guns, your friends and/or the places you hang out are clean, you dont steal, buglarize, assault anyone, but yet these bullhorn stick swinging rights violators accost you on a regular basis?

  • @dmedicFF

No kid, not "on a regular basis".

Just a half dozen times in my 60 years.

And they've always been dicks about it.

    happy now?

  • @Blahblobify No....what were you doing?

If you were being a Dick, then you deserve being treated like a Dick.

  • @dmedicFF

no asshole, i was Just walking down the street or sitting in public.

    FUCK THE POLICE

  • @Blahblobify Sorry- dont believe it.

  • Yeah, you're not "legally required to" but how about if you haven't broken any law, why don't you just do the cops a favour in helping them do their job. Verifiable ID can eliminate you as a suspect if they are looking for a particular person or family.

    How could this jeopardise you?

OK, this is good to know that you don't need to carry your ID everywhere, but if you do, why not help the cops when they ask?

  • This is a pointless video -- so basically he is saying you might or might not have to show ID..

So if an officer asked for ID what are you going to do "Excuse me officer I just going to call the ACU officer before I show ID"

  • 79 people who disliked this video where police who ask for id straight away

  • you only have to produce ID if you are being criminally charged PERIOD.

  • @tgshark1 In my state, you must produce ID to an officer when asked to do so, under some circumstances. If he/she is investigating a situation and feels you may be involved- yes you must show ID. When stopped for a traffic violation. When police are called because of your behavior. One does not have to have imminent charges.

  • @dmedicFF said: "If he/she is investigating a situation and feels you may be involved- yes you must show ID."

Not according to the Supreme Court.

I imagine if you read your state's statutes on stop and identify, you'll find that it does not require a person to 'show' ID/

  • @Pafoofnik1 Police called to a stabbing. Wit says a white male with blue shirt and white shorts did it. Cops see blue shirt and white shorts guy in the area, with blood on his shirt. Stop and ask for ID. He refuses, citing SCOTUS. He will get cuffed up and taken in. Every single time. Legally.

  • @dmedicFF: You are correct, now that you've changed you story.

You original comment: ""If he/she is investigating a situation and feels you may be involved- yes you must show ID" is still false according to the Supreme Court.

  • @Pafoofnik1 yeah....looking for a suspect in a stabbing, seeing a person matching the description with blood on him is "investigating a situation" and completely reasonable to consider this person "may be involved".....never changed my story idiot

  • @dmedicFF: Of course you did. Let's look at your original comment:

"If he/she is investigating a situation and feels you may be involved- yes you must show ID"

In your second comment, you omitted the part about 'show'.

The Supreme Court has acknowledged that a person does not have to 'show' a thing.

Your original comment is still false.

  • @Pafoofnik1 Youre full of crap every time I deal with you. You lose an issue, then twist words and concepts around. In all of these similar scenarios, the individual must definitively ID themselves. 100% of the time, this involves "showing" a photo ID of some sort. What else you got?

  • @Pafoofnik1 You ARE full of crap.....however, if you ever find yourself in one of these encounters, then refuse to show your ID. Cops dont care. You will get cuffed up and taken away anyway. Your defense attorney will supply the police with your ID.

  • As someone in LE, I do admit these videos are pretty impressive and that they are fairly accurate. You only have to give ID when it comes to operation of a motor vehicle (that's the law in my area). As for @skylerrb you are a disgrace.

  • When do i have to show the police my ID? : whenever the fuck we command you to. When i was an officer i gave you 20 seconds to show me your ID, and if you didn't you got whatever my lion rage was feeling that day.

  • @skylerrb your a faggot

  • @lvl1def1 you're

  • @skylerrb You think, because you wear a uniform, a person won't right hook you? try that shit with me one day ;)

  • @skylerrb: I understand why you "was an officer" now.

  • @skylerrb typical cop

  • What do I do if I get stopped outside of a bar while waiting for a cab. I pulled up to a bar one night to get a friend who knew they were too drunk to drive. The bar was closed so they were standing outside waiting for me. As I got out of the car three officers walked up to him and arrested him for public intoxication. He was waiting for a ride, was that legal?

  • @Cantstopthebaddancer Public Intoxication is a fancy word for drunk and disorderly, if he wasn't causing any trouble e.t.c and just waiting for a ride, then yes, it was an illegal arrest.

  • @Cantstopthebaddancer it is not necessarily "illegal" he was intoxicated in public. He was at a business after the business had closed so that could be grounds for reasonable suspicion. However, to me sounds like those cops were just being dickheads.

  • @Cantstopthebaddancer Most PI laws dictate you must be "manifestly" under the influence. Disorderly behavior, publicly urinating, annoying people, unconscious/sleeping it off on a bench, these are a few examples that could get you arrested. Staggering about in public, making a danger to yourself or others can be considered public intox. Calmly standing, not "manifestly" drunk, is not a crime.

  • No law enforcement officer or agent has any right to ever ask for your ID. You do not own your ID. It is state property and you are therefore an "EMPLOYEE" of the state. This is how they assume control over you. You do not need a driver's license or ID to travel. It is a right! Your 10th Amendment and 4th Amendment rights are superior to any law enforcement officer's or agent's supposed will or influence. All govt. employees are enemies of the the state. ROD CLASS v. STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA.

  • @glennwih Oh? And what else do the voices tell you good sir? Please, preach to us and show us the true and glorious path to freedom and enlightenment!

  • @daolong51279 You're kinda of an idiot right? Go do the research before you make stupid comments.

  • @glennwih Try being sane and coherent. I have no access to your medical records, so I have to go off of the content of your chosen method of communication. That said, the lengths to which people will go to just get out of paying taxes in their various incarnations boggles my mind.

  • @daolong51279 Ad hominems are a weak form of arguement. You obviously are perplexed and amazed by my comments. Instead of being an unaware, un-awakened sheep, try opening your eyes for once. I earned my BA in Political Science and have worked for several law firms. You obviously are talking out your ass. Research Rod Class on rayservers. You are welcome.

  • Corny video! What police officer stays in a car, asking for ID? LOL

  • @klingenator ive had it before.

  • But why refuse to show ID if you have nothing to hide? Refusal to comply can only lead to suspicion, though not under investigation the officer may now see something is wrong. While you might have the right to retain ID, doesnt mean its the smartist thing to do, especially when the police cant gain anything from it (unless youre wanted)

  • @Snapshot290: Why you think people need to justify their reason for exercising a right?

Courts have repeatably found that exercising a right, like the right to refuse a request for ID under most circumstances, cannot be used as reasonable suspicion of criminal activity.

  • @Pafoofnik1 "like the right to refuse a request for ID under most circumstances, cannot be used as reasonable suspicion of criminal activity."

In theory that might be the case - but in reality that will mean you will have to go to court and waste hours ( or even days) of your time -- which you will most likely not get compensated for..

Were as if you complied you would probably only have wasted a few minutes of your time.

  • @badpanda84: It't not theory at all. It's court case decisions that can be referenced should some officer be foolish enough to use my refusal as reasonable suspicion.

I will not be giving up my rights just because doing so is a waste of my time. You, of course, are free to do so if that what you wish.

  • @Pafoofnik1 "I will not be giving up my rights just because doing so is a waste of my time. "

LOL fair enough but you know the only people who win when you "fight for your right" are the lawyers..

Its not only a waste of time -- but alway a waste of money-- lawyers arent cheap.

  • @badpanda84: Thanks for sharing your opinion with me, but it's a flawed opinion.

I've been to court a few times. Never needed a lawyer. And I've every case so far.

  • @Pafoofnik1 yeah but what did you win exactly -- were you compesated for you time in court

  • @badpanda84: I won the money I was owed, plus all the expenses I incurred taking the cases to court, including the time spent working on the cases, the time actually in court, courts costs, drive time, mileage, etc.

  • @Pafoofnik1 So what exactly were you charge with again

  • @Pafoofnik1 Unfortunately the taxpayers compensated you, not the cops.

  • @danbeb: That is usually the case, but wasn't in my cases. I didn't sue the government in these cases because it wasn't at fault. I sued the individuals directly (and a company in one case).

I wish we could get 'loser pays' in litigation with governmental agencies. I can't count the times I came out 'right' yet the government droid I collected from knew it didn't affect his department in the least.

  • I have found that in NY, when you comply and are polite to a police officer, they will in most cases let you go, unless you really have something to hide. My best advice is...DON'T GET CAUGHT!

  • This is a great dvd.

  • why do i feel like this channel is teaching me to become a super criminal

"your" conversation (phone) once it leaves your (lol) home/property, it is WITHIN the PUBLIC Venue

    Fifthly

detaining U forever is legal (according to YOUR Constitution , well if U are a U.S. Citizen , for U are "thier" Property

See US Const. article 1 sec 8 clause 18,

(WHATEVER ANY U.S. Officer DEEMs is necessary and proper to preseve the U.S. Govt)

  • In the state of ohio if you refuse to show an I.D. at anytime street ot not you will be arrested for failure to I.D.

  • @sgtkevg said: "In the state of ohio if you refuse to show an I.D. at anytime"

Please cite the statute behind this law you just made up.

    Thanks.

  • there is no "law" that requires you to show id. If there is a LAW Mr. ponytail please post it

  • thumbs if you got here from watching anonymous videos

  • there is no point in rreefusing unless you just escaped from prison

  • is that dr.phill ?

  • The US Gov. is bad real bad but better that anyother.

  • @TheGunsoutdoorsshoot Not even remotely accurate. They already have the Patriot Act, which can be used to take ANYONES rights away by simply stating they are a suspected terrorist. Without any proof, of any kind, they can use that magic word and search you without a warrant, detain you forever without telling anyone where you are, no phone call no charges no nothing. They can also tap your phones... America is by far the most corrupt government in the entire world.

  • @toThe9thPower who questioned that.

  • @keauno2003 Some guy said the us government is bad, but better then any other... so I was explaining to them why this is not accurate..

  • @toThe9thPower Churchill WWII

  • @TheGunsoutdoorsshoot wtf are you even talking about?

  • @toThe9thPower

I'm just gonna take that from your statement you were over-exaggerating?

  • @BC1Dan No? I certainly wasn't. The Patriot Act allows them to take anyones rights away by simply saying they are a suspected terrorist. They can use this on ANY American, with no proof of any kind that you are actually a terrorist. Tapping your phones without any evidence? searching your home while your not there without a warrant? detaining you FOREVER without charging you or giving you a phonecall or even telling your family where you are? this is all shit that they can do now

  • @kldirectv2 whodunnit?

  • @toThe9thPower

    Who Done what, Sir?

  • @toThe9thPower True but FDR did the same thing

  • @TheGunsoutdoorsshoot Oh I get it, you are trolling me. Cool

  • Cop: "Let me see your ID."

Citizen: "Hold on while I call the ACLU..."

Ya, that should go over well.

  • yeah i dont wonna check 50 state laws so im gonna just check my 11 province laws :)

  • im goin to share all these videos

  • what is different when it comes to county jurisdiction vs city jurisdiction?

  • this happend to me the other day..lol im to freaked out to do anything they tell me to do in these vids how do i know this guys not lying to me

  • @TheOhlalakp

haha. He's telling the truth. The police will try to pressure you, but you have rights. The old saying "if you have nothing to hide, then don't worry" is bullshxt. If you don't legally have to do it, then it doesn't matter if you have something to hide or not.

  • @vincentrich "If you don't legally have to do it, then it doesn't matter if you have something to hide or not."

Yes it dose --because it make the diffrence between a 5 minute police encounter or having go to court for hours.

  • @TheOhlalakp It is the truth, check your state law.

  • you didnt even answer the fucking question that you advertise. GAY

  • where can I find something like this in Australia?

  • How do I show you an ID that I do not have? How can you force me in to a contract that I do not agree with?

  • I KNEW THESE WERE FILMED IN MARYLAND!

  • Can I do this in TX??

  • Prince Georges County? Was this filmed in MD?

  • lol prince george's county cops are the biggest assholes

  • Duh! if I have noting to hide! That is not the point-Remember the camel with the cold nose, the man let him warm his nose under his tent-then his head neck and whole camel! Once the police state takes over, our rights become eroded to a point of no rights. They are RIGHTS! we have a duty to insist on our rights-you wanna be a goody goody and bow to the 'servants' that is your RIGHT not mine!

  • why does it matter if they look at your ID? just show them. it doesnt do anything except tell them who you are. if youve done nothing wrong and have nothing to hide, your ID shouldnt need to be a secret.

  • wtf is this bullshit.... didnt learn shit

  • really ive been walking home piss drunk and stoped by cops, they say ID ! im like here ya go, they run it and they say have a good night.. One even gave me a ride home XD no shit, they could have charged me with public drunkeness but didnt even give a fuck.

  • When do I have to show police my ID? maybe you could when they ask for it? or ...you could act like your guilty of something and refuse to... LOL like really they just want to check for warrents, if you dont have one thell be gone in a min or two. let them do there job, so many people bitch they dont do there job, so shut the fuck up give them ID and they will leave. You act like you got something to hide they think you do simple as that.

  • @JDK1981: I guess some people are not as quick to give up their rights.

  • @Pafoofnik1 hes doing his job we pay them to do so.

  • @JDK1981: I never said he wasn't.

I said that some people are not as quick to give up their rights.

  • This is tupid because we all have the RIGHT to be safe! This is a small price to pay for a little security. If you haven't done anything wrong, you shouldn't have a problem with it. How would you like it if your loved one was raped or killed by a fugitive that "had the right " not to show ID when they looked suspicious to a cop? Then you'd be complaining that they didn't protect you! Get off the idiot train.

  • @voiceovreason42 "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. " ~~ Benjamin Franklin

  • @Joer22784 one of my favorite quotations ever

  • If they think your doing something illegal or did something illegal, they can ask.

  • but if i have nothing to hide then why would i not consent to a search or handing over my ID unless i was in a rush to get somewhere that is my only question. cause if you got nothng to hid then they can search all the want and still find nothing

  • @klaus121991: Our rights are not contingent on having nothing to hide.

  • Until "U" learn that being a Citizen/Subject makes "U" property of those that "U" claim are in control of "U",

"U" have waivered the rights God gave "U", as a [wo]man , made in his/her image.

The US Constitution is a CONTRACT, made between the States and the Feds, NOT between Man-and-Man

If U do not Claim to be property (that which is proper; belonging to) "Citizen/Subject" of a "State", then it has NOTHING to do with U as a ...."Man", or "[wo]Man"

  • @kldirectv2 ...so what rights do i have as a us citizen, to not be subjected to us and state laws? that is the confusing part...i can't just state that the police or feds don't have jurisdiction over me..they'll laugh and arrest me and then i'll be subject to their punishments...so, no matter what, i essence, all humans don't own themselves, because it doesn't matter because the authorities control us...

  • @PREPARE4THEHYPOCRITE They losse there jobs go to jail.

  • @kldirectv2 ""U" have waivered the rights God gave "U", as a [wo]man , made in his/her image."

That is an intersting statement -- you do realise that in the bible ( assuming you are christains) you have NO right -- instead you have COMMANDMENTS.

there is no bill of rights in the bible -- but there are 10 commandments

  • @badpanda84 @badpanda84

LOL Real BAD "presumption" ( presume is to take a right from someone in law without their consent)

lol U said Assume, ( which is to LIFT Up , as in jesus assumption to heaven)

But NO , i believe the "Bible is a cute; fun; nice little law book with funny stories,

God is the supreme being of everything ,,( in DOZENS of religions)

  • This is a commercial for lawyers lol.

  • i wish you did a uk one

  • I love how everyone bad mouths cops and knows all the laws and had no problem telling police how to do their job of protecting the good public... I wonder if these same people tell their doctor how to remove an appendix... :/

  • @RcT567 hmmm well maybe its because a doctor is a specialist on medicine and a cop is not a specialist on the law, in most cases you know the law better then some 22 year old cop with repressed anger from being bullied in high school cops are assholes and if they werent always assholes being in their job will make them assholes, they will ford your rights without turning a finger if you let them.

  • @123412312155112 MAybe cops are always assholes because millions of Dicks such as your self are always being asshole to the cops. you would be a little bit cranky to if "death by gunshot" was a likely scenario in your daily line of work instead of flipping burgers.

  • @superjump01 ya except in my city there isnt much cop killing going on its just a bunch of asshole cops who fuck with you for no reason cops are scumbags they're the kids who got beat up in high school so they extract revenge by becoming an asshole cop

  • @123412312155112 bitter pants over here

  • @lolololitsrichie obviously you've never been to court on charges jacked up by asshole cops go ahead and wish me luck im in court on friday on some wack tresspassing charges

  • @123412312155112 you're right. cause i abide the law. i haven't met an 'asshole cop'. sounds like you're generalizing them with bad experience and bias. don't break the law and there won't be an issue.

  • Unless you are trying to hide something whats the problem with showing ID if you have it.

  • @klatlap: Exercising our constitutional rights is not contingent on having nothing the hide.

  • @Pafoofnik1 Maybe it is time you changed your constitution as things have changed just a bit since it was written.

That's the main problem you are more concerned with your own individual rights than the rights of the community to be safe.

  • @klatlap: I see no reason the change the Constitution with regards to identification. If you wish to, then please have at it. You certainly have your work cut out.

I do not see a problem with individual rights. Neither does the Constitution. If you feel that I am somehow 'wrong' because of my beliefs, then please go pound sand.

  • @klatlap - I hope you are young. I swear if you tell me you are over 16, then you must be a complete idiot ..

  • @AnotherYankee are you implying that 16 isnt so young that your too stupid to know anything

  • @123412312155112 - I never said anything, but it would make sense for someone your age too not comprehend. Even though man, or even most can or do, but I just hope you are young. Once you grow up, you will see those rights take place in your life. You will see. All of us will confront it at some point.

  • @klatlap beware of those who bring go intentions.

  • do these apply in canada?

  • @ceraleater123 no, the Canadian Constitution is suprisingly well written and affords far greater protections than ours here in America. You should read your own Constitution sometime, I found it exeptional.

  • How did I end up here....I'm confused...I need a poptart...

  • @XBloodShotEyeZz if you need a poptart, go watch nyancat

  • @XBloodShotEyeZz Yeah I need one too :D

  • i dont get it, why not just show the id, i would rather work with the law then against it

  • @HuntmanC68 It's the principle of the matter. You should never trade your freedoms for security.

  • @HuntmanC68 that's your decision, but some people want to protect their rights

  • Why should we have to show our ID at all, considering the federal government is doing everything in it's power to stop the states from getting proper documents from illegals.

  • whats good is that police have found legal ways to get the information they want from citizens even if they have to part the proverbial sea of bullshit that the citizen decides to dish out at them to obtain it. the "i know my rights" line only goes so far. 90% of these idiots dont know their rights and usually end up in jail. sometimes a little cooperation goes a long way. keep up the good job officers!! u have my support!!!

  • Federal law supersedes any local laws. I'm just saying.

  • I know WA or Maryland state if you don't have an ID then can arrest you on sight if they think your under 18.

  • @ZolinSith: Have a legal cite behind this law you just made up?

  • whats the law in virginia?

  • You do not need to produce an ID for a police officer unless you were pulled over as the driver of the vehicle. In said case, your license, registration, and proof of insurance will be asked of you. These, you must submit.

If an officer approaches you and asks to see ID, you don't have to produce for them. Just ask them if you're being detained/am I free to go. That's literally all you have to say to them regardless of their questions. If you're free to go, go about your business.

  • LOLLOLLOLOLOLLOLLOLLOL... WHAT AN IDIOT

  • This "advice" has caused more people to be arrested than its kept from being arrested.

  • @SRPowers2891 yeah i know right, now being on the side walk where i live u dont have to give them a ID, but u do have to ID urself with a name or something so long as ur not driving some form of vehicle

  • Here in the netherlands, you need to show your ID whenever a cop askes you to, even if your just walking your dog and a cop askes for your ID. dont do this and youll be 50 euros lighter

  • @MJ4everTheKing yeah but I don't really see the problem. I mean the right to walk freely without ID is not a right that scores high on my list tbh.

  • @MJ4everTheKing The right to be arrested without bodily harm is something that scores high on my list. The right to do with your own body whatever you want without hurting others scores high on my list. The right to wear whatever I want scores high on my list. I have to show ID atleast 1 time everyday. Fucking Albert Heijn is on a nazi tour, I am 23 and still they ask me for ID for cigs or alcohol every goddamn day. Showing my ID to a cop once a year is nothing.
