Jordan's game did not center around passing because, well, it wasn't really that necessary, he was a scoring machine, however the man could pass with the best of em as clearly displayed in this video, in fact in 89 when John Paxson was hurt MJ took over the Point position and proceeded to amass 7 straight triple doubles and 10 in 11 games ending the year with I believe 15 which is more than half of his career total, don't doubt Michael's passing prowess, he just never needed it much.

I love the atleticism of the game now, but back in the day you had players that could not only just jump(*cough* Lebron) but you had player that could shoot, pass, play defense, lead they're teams.....basically real players. Yea this time in basketball was classic like none other

If anything Pippen made Jordan look better becuase Jordan didn't pass as much before Pippen, thats why he and the Bulls were tormented by the Pistons in the playoffs for years. Last time I checked Pippen was selected 5th overall in the draft, but I guess he had no talent until he played with Jordan. Pippen was a fucking all star. Was he as good as Jordan? The Bulls started winning rings when Pippen developed, not when he first arrived. He didn't come into the league as an all-star, he came in as a sub and worked his way into the starting lineup. Chuck Daly even admitted that the reason Chicago overcame the Bulls was because....

Pippen was already a very good player then, better than Lamar Odom, unfortunately he played against the Pistons, who were the most physical team in the league and also a great defensive team. Jordan kept them afloat by himself.

Also Pippen used to disappear even in championship seasons for playoff games, in that way he reminds me of Kobe Bryant.
