@Cagey75 because people that r going to make decent videos r going to use real mics... if u just wanna point and shoot and get kinda HD video ur gonna get a p&s camera. SLR video is for people who want to take real video... just sayin
By The Way I love Nikon It's just that I have several Canon Glass. D7000 is awesome-- MA body, Great ISO, 6fps, built in flash, Cheaper lenses but for me to switch body and buy new lenses when I already have Canon gear would be stupid. Just use manual or Dub a song on ur video
and this is why everyone should buy either a Canon 60D and deal with the Manual Focus-- it shoots better HD Video or the Sony a55 which is the best at Auto Focus right now and shoots 10 frames per second oh and did I mention it's 700$ cheaper to go with Sony. I own both I saved up a whole year for these 2 and for Christmas I will be getting the Gh2 Lumix to finish the year. Also, now that Nikon declared war, Canon is already working on their 5dMK III, Rebel 600D, upgrade of 7D and Micro 4/3 yeah

That is some shockingly bad AF noise. It's like Nikon didn't put any thought into it, why bother with full HD video if the sound is so appalling?

The sound is from car electrical window. The lens Nikon 16-85 is super sharp with smoot and quiet AF
