  • this dude must get so much pussy

  • LIKE A FUCKING BOSS.

  • Wonderful !!

  • it sound kinda scary lol

  • @mayhem20112 It's supposed to :D

  • They have to separate button accordions from piano accordions. With b accordions it's a whole different technical than with piano accordions. Button accordions can play some complicated stuff much easier than piano accordion because of the location of the tones. But they can not play other stuff with ornaments like a piano accordion can!!!

  • i can see why he won the world gold medal for accordioning

  • beautiful composition..really well played..a great concertist of accordion

  • wow it's the best accordionist! My mom is accordion teacher so she say that it is really best accordionist :)

  • idk i think its a good playing just needs to play a song that you no someone on this planet has heard

  • erm accordion? looks like a bayan

  • @doomless198

Might be a chromatic button accordion. Bayan is just the Russian word for a button accordion.

  • Is this good?....I can't tell if this is good....(probably good) YAY ACCORDION PLAYER !!!

  • Good playing - the accordion gets a bad rap.

  • how come is the jupiter bayan like the most expensive they got

  • Isn't it amazing what some music store customers can play after only 12 free lessons?!

Now, let's see him play it on my 1931 Hohner piano accordion with the leaky valves.

  • Really, Really Great, Bravo! By the way of accordion, this marvellous and unique musical instrument, If you want, please see what Brazilians and Argentinians are doing. Search for these 3 videos:

  • вот а фак??

  • It sounds like an orchestra at some points of him playing, absolutely incredible!

  • wtf is this ´gold medal´ for this bad sound just search Paul Stanga from Romania that is a good one

  • coolest accordion or bayan music I've ever heard

  • russian bayanists best piople сцуки!

  • This is a Russian Bayan ... not an accordion...

you don't like the music probably because it is in the academic style... a traffic jam? Well, O.K. then ... but of limousines.

  • love that reply :)

  • @kavaldzhia .. It's still an accordion .. Just a Chromatic version..

  • @Bradhobbs19 Perhaps you are right ...

The Russian Bayan however, has completely different voicing

and style of reed than the western accordion. To me, it's always been

evident that the accordion, et al., is the industrial age successor to

the bagpipe - same reeds, a somewhat different "bag" and it has kept it's

place in the heart of the people, much like the bagpipe in it's day.

  • @kavaldzhia Your comment just made my night!! Thank you! :-) thumbs up

  • @kavaldzhia it's an accordion

  • @kavaldzhia Nije Harmonika nego Dugmetara... Nije sija nego vrat. Its Serbian ARMONIKA!

  • Sounds like a trafic jam!

  • @Chavezoid I like it, but that comment did make me laugh, aha

  • @esbensloth And some people dont like jazz. It`s not for everyone, I`ll admit that :)

  • A master at their craft is a wondrous thing to witness.

  • A master at their craft is always a wondrous thing to witness.

  • Actually, I'm totally digging the tune. Damn, he's good.

  • good job but the song itself is very very very ugly and does not make sense.

  • This is competition. Playing to the judges. Check it out. The guy can play all kinds of broadway stuff and classical as well.

  • Ouch!

  • This is awful...

  • well not every body can play that wunderfulllllll rock and roll or hoempapa music and have to do with this......duh

  • hes very talented but that was disgusting

  • Umm... He is a skillful player but why doesn't anyone anymore play music that has emotions, like tango...? This music makes me sick.

  • Obviously talented, but I _really_ don't like the discordant stuff.

  • not fine...

  • if you want to take out the triangles from your head listen to this. Ionica Minune and

Dejan Kostic (Mozart) Aca Cergar ....you get the message after

  • ramanul1

    where are you from?

  • romania

  • are you people deaf ? If he pay me i would not want to hear that again . i recomend to see video ( Kemis-Seva,or Miroljub Arandjelovic Kemis - Prstolomka,or Miroljub Arandjelovic Kemis - Resavski zubor,or Kemis & Kodic ) Just go and see the real great master of accordion ever

  • Beautiful piece of music

  • this music is too complicated for my brain in a sense that it has too many contrasts and sudden changes in it ... it kind of paints an unpleasant environment with millions of sharp triangles in chaotic order fighting each other

  • yea,you´re right,it´s great

  • stupidest comment ever

  • Simply amazing. This guy has to have his left brian directly wired to his right brain to pull some of this stuff off! WoW!! is all I can say really...

  • Amazing player, incredible technique and piece. Is a Jupiter Bayan?

  • Yes, this is Jupiter.

  • wow I got goosebumps at some parts!

  • In fact it is a small organ but what versatility in themes and speed. Its genesis must have gone through the ages passing through sacquebute and gallic pipers to give birth to this intrument rarely played.

  • This young man has some serious chops. Whoever wrote the music should come round to my house and explain it to me - it's a wee bit 20th century for my present comprehension. But I'm working on that ...

Love the comment from Sevastian - just played what was on the page - HELL, I wouldn't have been able to make the slightest sense of the dots on that sheet of paper

  • I will never understand how they can cope with all those freakin buttons, lol

  • This music is awesome! It is so orchestral in nature and imagine a movie scene with this music but perhaps played a symphony... girl running from a "stalker", mad scientist at work, old movie car chase etc. If you don't "get it", doesn't mean it's harsh and grating. There's a reason that tritones and dissonance are used and it makes the piece go in a unique direction. Quite honestly, if the "common" folk don't understand it, tough. We'd still be listening to simplistic crap in a box with them.

  • I don't understand! This music is so lush and gorgeous! How can people say that it's harsh and grating?

  • Because they have no soul.

  • Bitter?

  • only if you can repeat what you have played the first time

  • I highly doubt you could.

  • Shut up! You could not!

  • how rude. You're a douche

  • This man's technique was beyond perfect.

This piece of music did, however make my brain hurt and I will not listen to it ever again.

I'm well aware that if the brain listens to any sound pattern enough times it will identify it as music. This particular music is foreign to me, as well as to the vast majority of the world.

So enjoy the music you're used to, but speaking for common people I say you are very stupid to call us "clearly insane" for being repulsed by these compositions.

  • This was amazing. All of you who are complaining this is somehow "not music" are clearly insane. Go back to watching Lawrence Welk, and quit griping about things you don't understand.

  • A brilliant performance no doubt. I was there and witnessed it. I left eary, this is not music any more. Can we not get music back into this competition???

  • 2:11-2:16

    he looks like jack black

  • Awesome! Beautiful

  • Very well done. The music is interesting and stimulating though it would sound better with percussion added. You have a good talent for interpretation as your rendition has feeling and excellent expression.

  • Beautiful at 2:08. Very good. =D

  • I really like this piece. Just a personal preference, but there you go. You have to keep in mind, though, that the piece was largely chosen on the basis of how challenging it was, not its aesthetic value. Impasse was like this too, and from experience, it becomes much more exciting and musical once you actually play it yourself.

  • aesthetics and beauty are things realy diferent and this piece plus his "performance" are both

  • I know what you mean, totally, i was considering entering this competition, but once i saw the test piece i was like forget this, i'm sorry Karen but i dont consider this music.

  • I'm new in listening accordion music,

my view is that, he got perfect technique,

I just don't like this piece of music,

so messy, and I don't know where's the melody...

is this a medley or something? =_="

anyway, hope that he will produce more beautiful music in the future!!

  • Thanks for the comment. Please keep in mind that the piece I did was a test piece for the competition and what I tried to do was to play what was on the page

  • Perfect technique and interpretatnion, you musst love it...

  • Looks like another russian player. Profesional sound and performance...ehh, I always loved the sound of russian Jupiter.

    Nice.
